Mikey, thank you for the long talk on the phone the other day. Especially since you were in the hospital at the time recovering from surgery. Our discussion and the points you made to me were just so helpful, sir.

For the record, I am a senior active duty military officer, commander and military academy graduate who has been a client of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation since I was just a junior officer.

After much painful reflection and deliberation with my family and trusted comrades I have decided to resign my military commission. I can no longer rationalize serving a United States military that is commanded by those who deliberately and flagrantly ignore the constitution that I swore an oath to support and defend with my life.

I could go into much more detail Mikey as we did on our phone call. But the bottom line is that it is all too obvious that I would be violating my sworn oath to the constitution by continuing to serve in this US military, which I can no longer recognize. Your advice to me and my family greatly helped clarify my options.

Our family happens to be practicing Christians. However, we have seen Christianity weaponized by our Department of “War” chain of command. If you do not demonstrably  submit to their Christian dogma you are kicked to the curb and targeted for isolation and removal. It is tearing apart the morale, discipline, good order and especially unit cohesion of our country’s military all of which are the sine qua non for our nation’s armed forces. I can no longer be a part of this destructive travesty.

Thank you and the MRFF so very much for always being there instantly for me and many others I have referred to you all when needed through the years. We will continue to support the Foundation every way we can. Please protect my identity but, otherwise, feel free to use this e-mail in any way you choose.

This is the hardest decision I have ever made but the hypocrisy and self loathing of continuing to support this current US military chain of command is impossible for me. And it should be impossible for all others who took the same oath I did to our constitution.

This is no time for officers of conscience to resign. Their experience is needed more than ever.

You cannot leave the officer corps to the go-along-to-get-along opportunists, even if they are not hard-core MAGAs — yet.

    Valkyrie.

In other words, you are a “quitter.”

It’s time for many more to resign. Those that want to protect and defend democracy and the constitution SHOULD leave them to their own devices. They’re destroying the very vessel that contains them. When they’re destroying themselves, get out of their way!

Give them their “Christian Nationalist military!”

Let christians go fight the wars they start in the name of their bastard savior.

Notice the christians starting wars don’t fight them? So funny watching emasculated christians sacrifice other christians.

See how that works out for you MAGA! :-)
