Dear Mikey and MRF Foundation,
Thank you for taking the time to speak with me this evening and responding so quickly to my request for guidance. I sincerely appreciate your professionalism and willingness to engage on short notice.
As an Army Captain, who is also a practicing Christian, I was grateful for the opportunity to discuss a deeply concerning matter regarding discriminatory practices, and severe inundated micro-aggressions by Chaplains in the workplace. I was provided thoughtful, policy-focused insight on how to proceed responsibly. Your clarity, responsiveness, and commitment to ensuring service members understand their rights and options made a meaningful difference.
Organizations like yours provide a critical place for service members to turn when they feel they have exhausted other avenues or have no one else to seek guidance from. I am thankful for the support and perspective you offered.
Respectfully,

This is a weird time of the year, held tight as it is between two major holidays where if you don’t practice the religion attached you at least have been affected by the myriad business closings. Or you’ve had family (oh, so much family) that well intended or not, the peace of just you and yours beckons like a star in the sky.
Into that setting remains some facts which will not go away. First and foremost is the dedication this team here at MRFF displays towards the one document which truly touches us all in the states; the Constitution and Bill of Rights. If I had any extra funds at the moment the MRFF would be the place to invest. But I don’t. Here/now my talent is writing so here I’m sharing with you.
Why am I so passionate about the MRFF? It’s a tale of true love, violence, and dedication which involves my late husband, an old Marine even if he was “rotten to the Corps” (his words) who was bullied, harassed, and eventually booted out. His crime? Well aside from punching his superior for sleeping with his then wife my late husband was a seventh generation Asatru with his deity being Thor.
The hazing was epic. Attempted SA by the commanders favorites (didn’t go well with them), cleaning bathrooms during Sunday services, and extreme measures involving cigarettes and hands. When all that didn’t break his Viking spirit the commander turned his attention on his then wife which led him to punching a superior officer. Ha! Superior my left buttock but still, regulations matter.
If the MRFF had existed back in the day but Mikey was going through his own hazing experiences which is why, in my opinion, is why the existence of the MRFF is so important.
Because life here on earth is so here one day, gone the next, I’m taking the time to say I’m grateful for all the behind the scenes phone calls and meetings with frantic clients. I’m delighted when Mikey speaks truth to power and our trolls come crawling out the woodwork crying how mean everyone is to them even though if they hadn’t started something there wouldn’t have been something.
Every essay MRFF Board Member John Compere writes reminds me of why protecting and defending our Constitution is so important. Every comment made by local commentators brings perspective to an issue that at first glance appears to be dry and lifeless. Each part paints the picture of dedicated people who not only talk the talk but walk the walk.
See y’all next year.
The most captivating aspect of Space Waves lies in its intuitive control. The small ship hurtles through abstract space, reacting directly to each keystroke, creating a clear connection between the player and the movement on the screen.
