Clients Turn to MRFF for Rapid Assistance in Responding to U.S. Military Unit Supervisor’s 1st Briefing of 2026: Have You Been Saved Show of Hands
January 23, 2026
In early January 2026, a U.S. Military Unit Supervisor decided it was appropriate to begin the new year with a Unit Briefing intended as a ‘head count’ on perceived supporters within the unit of the supervisor’s preferred religious superiority. Apparently emboldened by SecDef Hegseth’s well documented drive towards turning the U.S. Military into a ‘Christian’ supremacist fighting force (https://shorturl.at/HaWeJ), this Unit Supervisor asked their subordinates if they had been appropriately ‘saved’. One of MRFF’s client’s detailed what transpired, including MRFF’s rapid response, in an email to MRFF President/Founder Mikey Weinstein:

On behalf of several fellow military members I wanted to express thanks to our MRFF representative (name and rank withheld) and to Mr. Weinstein for helping us deal with the incident that happened right after the start of the new year.
Sorry to be late sending this in.
Our military unit supervisor here at (installation name withheld) started off the first mission briefing of the new year by asking for a show of hands as to which attending military members have been “saved through the grace and blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” We all thought YGBSM?
(MRFF representative’s name and rank withheld) connected us with Mr. Weinstein almost immediately after this happened. I won’t go into all of the specifics here as to how Mr. Weinstein contacted our chain of command to fix this. But two days later our commander addressed the matter at another (military unit nomenclature withheld) meeting and apologized for what our military unit supervisor had said about asking who had been “saved.”
Most of us are junior enlisted and Christian like me. But we knew that this was way over the line. All of this has happened so quickly. So we don’t know how our military unit supervisor will treat us after he has now been called out by our commander for this stupidity? No one has seen him and we were told that he is TDY somewhere.
If he ever shows up again looking for payback we will contact the MRFF right away.
Thank you all at the MRFF for taking up the situation so quickly and getting it corrected as well.

Mikey and MRFF will continue to monitor this situation and assist these clients in the event of any retribution or further un-Constitutional attempts to impose a ‘religious test’ for honorable service within the U.S. Military.
