Military.com Journalist Reporting on MRFF’s Client Advocacy and Experiences Contacted By Other Defense Contractors Thanking Him for Story

Since 2005, MRFF and it’s President/Founder Mikey Weinstein have attempted to provide direct assistance to National & Homeland Security client’s working under the un-Constitutional religious influence of superiors attempting to establish a de-facto ‘Religious Test’ for their honorable service to the United States. On Monday, January 19, 2026, the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism (GPAHE) meticulously covered SECDEF Pete Hegseth’s Christian nationalist crusade in a report entitled: Deus Vult: Pete Hegseth’s Christian Nationalist Crusade to Remake the U.S. Military (https://shorturl.at/1Pyig). The report prominently features MRFF, opening with a MRFF client’s revelation that Hegseth’s Pentagon duty day Christian worship service “invitations” are now being sent not only to military members but to defense contractors as well. Also covered is MRFF’s current case of 32 service member clients fighting back against their commanders’ Hegseth-inspired duty day Christian worship services.

The report copiously quotes Mikey Weinstein, concluding with Mikey’s blunt assessment of MAGA Christian nationalism:

“Weinstein framed the stakes starkly. ‘America first means one thing,’ he told GPAHE. ‘It means white first, male first, straight first, and not just Christian first, but Christian nationalist first.’ “‘Christian nationalism is the jet fuel of MAGA,’ he added.”

One day later on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, Nick Mordowanec reported at Military.com on MRFF Clients’ Revelation that Hegseth’s Pentagon Christian Worship Service “Invites” are Now Being Sent to Defense Contractors: Defense Contractors Report Invite to Pentagon’s Christian Prayer Service (https://shorturl.at/64S7i)
The article quotes Mikey Weinstein several times on this new addition to Hegseth’s Christian nationalist crusade:

Weinstein and MRFF learned about the correspondence just a couple days after they were contacted by an active-duty military officer who wrote to the organization on behalf of 32 other service members from several units who are ‘under the commanders holding duty day Christian worship services.’

He called the invitation to fully-uniformed military service members and others to the Pentagon’s largest auditorium ‘a pristine example of the tyranny, oppression and ugliness of abject Christian nationalism, which destroys the essence of what even our U.S. Supreme Court has proclaimed to be full panoply of constitutional protections for the rest of us in this nation.

And this invitation for his latest monthly grotesque distortion of the Constitution obliterates the requisite good order, morale, discipline and unique cohesion, which comprises that compelling government interest,’ he added. ‘It reeks of the malodorous stench of fundamentalist Christian extremism, exceptionalism, triumphalism, supremacy and domination, in complete defiance of the most basic rubrics of our U.S. Constitution.’

The day after this article appeared on Military.com (the most-read military news and information site globally with over 10 million members), Nick Mordowanec informed Mikey that “he has received many communication outreaches from other defense contractors thanking him for the story because they didn’t know what to do and felt helpless”.

With the 2nd Trump Administration’s blitzkrieg effort to impose the Christian Nationalist dogma behind ‘Project 2025’, Mikey and MRFF feels that this type of media outreach has proven once again that this type of exposure is one of the major victories we can provide for our clients here at the Foundation!!
