Iran has proven that the United States is not as effective militarily as the advertising says it is. The Chinese, in particular, have taken detailed notes. When they take Taiwan back in the not too distant future, they know America’s tactics and capabilities. TSMC, a world supplier of 2nm chips, with a factory in Arizona, for example, becomes a Chinese asset. China takes the lead technologically (which they will anyway. Taking TSMC speeds it up). Chinese growth takes off exponentially while the U.S. is left looking for more sites to “Drill Baby Drill!”

Second, calling Iran “the doctor providing treatment” to the world is absurd. Iran has spent decades funding and arming groups like Hezbollah, Hamas, and other militias across the region. They’ve attacked U.S. forces and allies repeatedly. You can oppose war with Iran — plenty of people do — but pretending Iran is some benevolent stabilizing force is historically illiterate.
Third, the claim that the U.S. military hasn’t been in a “real fight since Vietnam” is just ridiculous. Iraq, Afghanistan, ISIS, and countless counterterrorism operations over the past 20+ years were very real wars. We obviously have different assessments and predictions for outcome.
I’m thinking there’s a definite silver lining for the United States in this outcome.
The biggest being we get rid of Trump, put the Epstein class in check, and get the country moving in the right direction. I’m also predicting Israel will get rid of Netanyahu. I understand there’s a little remodeling going on there.

I’ve never witnessed an unforced error of such epic proportions, ever. If someone has more knowledge I’m willing to be educated but I’ve read a lot. I’m sure that level of incompetence would have been memorable.
This isn’t over until Iran says it’s over and based on what we’ve done to their cities, yeah, things are going to get complicated.
