Subject: DoD Religious Restrictions

I am an 18 year Active Duty veteran with combat decorations that is still serving. I am also a Norse Pagan spiritual leader on my installation and in my local community. I am reaching out about the recent change of policy from the “SoW.” This guidance reduces the total number of recognized religions to 31, 22 of which are Christian. I find this extremely disturbing and a direct violation of our rights. I wanted to reach out to you to get help and support to fight this and force them to resend it. This is a targeted attack with the goal of complete erasure of all non-Abrahamic beliefs from a self proclaimed crusader. 

I have spent my career fighting for our people and trying to do all I can to improve the lives of those around me, and this change greatly diminished my ability to do so. Our military members are already suffering, and I personally have had to prevent some of my members from doing regrettable things to themselves. This sort of policy is the kind of malignant cancer that will be the death of many. This administration’s abuse of our military members needs to be stopped. 

I am deeply grateful for all you have done so far, but please don’t stop until the fight is over.
