Proof in the historical record that the MRFF has been fighting the good fight for more than a minute. Not that those who could have done something at that time did anything proving the axiom of all it takes for evil to prosper is for humans of good will to do nothing.

OT but part of the hysterical record is the reversal by Hegseth’s military as it pertains to the flu vaccine. Not funny is the fact that a soldier reportedly died. Also not funny were the couple of hundred of baby soldiers who now face the potential for long term health consequences because Hegseth played around with vaccines.

    The stupid, it burns us.

How pathetic he prints that article from almost twenty years ago.

Old fart does not disappoint. Jealousy is a hell of a drug and the old one who whines a lot is a bona fide addict.

But that’s not why I’m here. Today I learned that the current admin’s Religious Liberty Commission put out their report which in addition to other abominations states “To preserve this freedom, we must build bridges, not walls, between the City of God and the City of Man. If we do so, we will pass on a free and prosperous nation to the next generation”

Yeah, they said that and a bunch of other stuff that will keep me up at night.

There was a board member back in the day – Pastor Joan I believe was her name, she of the bless your socks off fame. She laid out the reasoning for the language of the First Amendment, why a comma placed where it was placed ensured Atheists to the most devout believer each were free to worship or not as they saw fit. I miss her logic and clear way of seeing to the heart of a matter.

Contrast that fantastic soul with the current Lt Gov of TX, standing in the Oval Office who tells us the phrase uttered by Thomas Jefferson in the Treaty of Tripoli will no longer be used as a cudgel against the faithful.

Funny, only time anyone needed to use that “cudgel” as MAGA calls it is when they themselves violated the boundaries of those who don’t believe like them.

It’s not legally binding (yet) but if anyone was waiting on a sign to get involved, here’s your freaking sign.

Just a gripe of mine – back in the day I was told I was hysterical because I saw what the Nat-C’s were doing. I was called all the names in the book, my life threatened (used to use my real name, now I prefer a nom de plume as humans suck) because I’m not Christian, and gaslighted by saying what I saw wasn’t what I was really seeing.

    And yet, here we are.

No one could be this stupid you claim old fart?

And yet here you are proving your own point. Well done you!

But the, Old Liar, what is your point here, other than proving Nietzsche right about slave morality and ressentiment?

    Get over yourself.

Accept that your religion is not and will not be everybody’s.

Accept that what you assert without evidence and even despite it, can be disregarded without evidence.

Grey One, you wrote, “OT but part of the hysterical record is the reversal by Hegseth’s military as it pertains to the flu vaccine. Not funny is the fact that a soldier reportedly died.” Respectfully, people in the US Air Force are generically referred to as “airmen”. I went through Basic Training at Lackland AFB back in the fall of 1975. And now that I live in San Antonio, I might just hop over to Lackland to see how things are today . . . .

To your point though, it’s absolutely disgusting that Pete “Mister Sneeze” Hegseth allowed airmen in basic training to forego flu vaccinations! We know they’re effective in preventing flu. We know that they’re safe. And we know that open bay barracks, with fifty or more airmen living together in close proximity makes for rapid spread of highly communicable diseases.

What’s next? Measles? Mumps? Chicken pox? That latter one is just GREAT! Because it leads to shingles later in life. Excusing people from getting vaccinations for easily transmitted diseases that can render them unfit for combat — or worse! — in inexcusable! Particularly since Mr. Sneeze claims he wants to ensure our personnel are combat ready at all times.
