MRFF’s Mikey Weinstein Featured in Nexstar Report Seen Nationwide on Hegseth Cutting 180 Belief Systems from DOD Recognized Religions List

The military no longer recognizes Atheists, Deists, Druids, Heathens, Humanists, New Age, Pagans, Spiritualists, Wiccans, Unitarian Universalists, and scores of other minority belief systems by edict of Secretary of Holy War Hegseth.
“This was another example from our perspective of fundamentalist Christian hubris, arrogance, self-aggrandizement, that the most, we know that Hegseth’s version of Christianity is just Christian nationalism, which wants to create a Christian state based on extreme Christian principles, which is the direct defiance of the Constitution.” — MRFF Founder and President Mikey Weinstein, quoted by Nexstar

These people still have the right to see a chaplain and practice their faith. Weinstein only wants publicity and money nothing else.
The old soldier claims without evidence that folks who aren’t a specific flavor of Christianity can still seek the services of a chaplain.
How dumb do they think we are? I ask because the point of this entire website is to highlight how the chaplain corps has historically NOT served anyone who isn’t of their own specific faith. Oh, sure, there are the exceptions who welcome everyone but they’ve been strong-armed out of the service with the advancement of Nationalist Christians.
Old soldier – you do know that the MRFF and Mikey can’t just wander about the base to see who is committing religious crimes for clicks and likes? You can’t be that ignorant? You understand why the MRFF exists, correct?
I’ll answer for them because they’ll just yell at me so no, they understand nothing as proved by their repeated and consistent comment that Mikey is doing this for publicity.
As I’ve learned over the years those throwing out accusations without a shred of evidence are themselves absolutely guilty of what they accuse others of doing.
So old soldier, whatcha doing?
Grey one talks sass. Shove it lady I have done more for veterans then you EVER will. YES I know why the MRFF exists for money and publicity
Ah yes, there they are, all the feels and none of the facts.
Notice they didn’t answer any of my questions? See how they claimed the higher moral ground while insulting others?
Old fart you may have done more for veterans than myself but you cannot make the same claim for the MRFF, a fact which must just make you seethe with envy and jealousy. Don’t try to deny it. I can read it in every comment you make.
You’re jealous because Mikey and the MRFF do more, care more, and are more effective than you’ll ever be. That has to keep you up at nights.
Good.
Mikey only cares out milking the donations to pay for his home office.
Thats all he cares about is the money and publicity. By the way “General” Compere forgot to mention Women Veterans Day earlier this month oh well I guess he was too busy taking Bibles of tables.
Oh look, it’s the old fart who whines a lot and their sidekick, the stinky wind. I’d leave their rubbish unanswered but trash must be addressed lest it take over a place.
Old fart – if you don’t want anyone to disparage your service it would be in your own best interests to refrain from disparaging the service of others. Board member and retired veteran John Compere has quite the list of bonafides, something you lack. And their posts about American history are very accurate and filled with those historical tidbits which bring the past to life.
I’m just saying old fart, in the predominantly male measuring contest which you started your arrogance presents as cover for your (ahem) shortcomings. Also please explain for the class how Women’s Veterans Day ties into the mission of the MRFF? Be sure to show the work you did in supporting women in the military. Use extra paper if you need the room.
I’ve observed before the old farts refusal to follow the Constitution or rules and procedures created specifically to govern all displays of the POW/MIA table. Representations of any faith are verboten on the table as no one knows the faith of those the table serves. Their insistence on placing a symbol of their faith where it doesn’t belong per the Constitution proves they are the enemy domestic mentioned in their oath.
Time and again the old fart (not calling them soldier again until they apologize for their slur against one of our own) disparages the work done by MRFF board member John Compere (Brigadier General, US Army (Retired), Former Chief Judge, US Army Judiciary). Using quote marks around his rank at retirement implies he didn’t do the work to achieve his rank. He won’t comment as it’s not his job.
Me? I’m a junk yard Belgian Malinois for whom honor is vital confronting an intruder who has none.
Honor isn’t sitting at home collecting government checks. That is certain.
LOL. Sure windy, sure. Oh man, the implied judgement, attempt to provoke a defensive response, and the best spice of all the slam at governmental service on a military adjacent website.
Put a smile on my face. #grateful
