Mr. Michael Weinstein and the Military Religious Freedom Foundation:

Wanted to express thanks for helping me as a Special Forces commander navigate and confront my military superior’s refusal to stop holding five minute Christian prayer services prior to our frequent multinational, combat battle strategy meetings.

The SF unit I command is deployed down range and we have allied forces who attend these battle strategy meetings many of whom follow faiths other than Christianity such as Islam and Judaism.

I’m not going to get any more specific here but it was necessary to thank Mr. Weinstein and several representatives of the MRF Foundation who helped me reach out to Mr. Weinstein to get this matter resolved presently. I have only the highest respect for the how, what, where and why Mr. Weinstein was able to force my superior to cease and desist from his Christian proselytizing antics. And I say this as a Christian myself.
