To the Military Religious Freedom Foundation and Mr. Mikey Weinstein.

I am writing for my spouse who is active duty in the Air Force and our family and the families of four other Air Force active duty personnel.

We are all stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are not yet among the MRFF’s current clients here at Kirtland AFB. But wanted to reach out to thank you all anyway.

We work and live on base. All five of our families are Christian. Your actions to fight the religious greetings of our Security Forces gate guards has sparked a huge amount of talk and debate here and a lot of it has been quite heated.

We have been very hurt, confused and angry about these clearly Christian religious greetings.

None of us felt we could say anything to object to these greetings to anyone here in command without immediate repercussions to our spouses and families.

Thank you for fighting for the right thing here and for standing up to Secretary Hegseth. Even when he tried unsuccessfully to jack you all up. We loved Mr. Weinstein’s video reply to Secretary Hegseth and shared it on social media as much as we could. Hegseth tried to brand the MRFF as a radical “anti-Christian” and “pro-atheist” org. And here all of us are Christians thanking the MRFF!

All five of our families have children whose eyes are wide open watching all of this. And it is very gratifying to explain to them what the MRFF is doing to protect all of our rights here. This has even sparked pro and con discussions at our kids’ public schools on base (Wherry and Sandia Base Elementary schools).

Please do not use my name or email address. If the Kirtland AFB chain of command identified us they would try to crush us.

We are all just so thankful that you all can speak up for those of us who cannot do so. Especially over something as obviously wrong as what has been happening here at Kirtland Air Force Base and probably other bases.
