I did not think it was possible but POTUS backed down from livestreaming the execution. While not the win I’d like it’s the win on the plate at the moment so I’m taking this opportunity to be grateful.
Grateful that many folks who once proudly spouted hate are now silent (not silenced by another but having the consequences of their decisions biting them hard in tender places all while the biggest yet smallest town in the world – HT Tizzyent – tells them to suck it up buttercup).
Grateful my fingers are fingering so I can write today.
Grateful the MRFF team is On It. Grateful Mikey inspires others as he did me.
Grateful for the friends I’ve met (not irl as flat is still where it’s at) here on the site.
Grateful that while tired and a bit freaked out at the speed our current admin is determined to break things before the lawyers get involved our resistance is growing. And the teams of lawyers doing battle with the current admin? When the lawyer montage is played during the remake of here/now the background music will be sweeping heroic tones which move the spirit as court case after court case is settled in favor of the resistance.
Also grateful and delighted that those who do spread hate and division are experiencing the very issues they hoped to force onto others. It’s a very Grimm kind of thing.

WindyweinerWeinstein, TDS is, indeed, an unfortunate disease! More unfortunate still is the fact that it has not yet been identified and described in the DSM. Perhaps it’s because the psychiatric profession hasn’t come up with a suitable definition. So let me propose one.
I define “Trump Derangement Syndrome” as “the delusional belief that President Trump acts for the benefit of anyone beside himself, despite the empirical evidence that he only acts for himself.”
Does anyone else have anything to offer? Because it appears that the decision to livestream an execution is but another attempt to divert America’s collective attention from the Trump Administration’s collective ineptitude.
