The Military Religious Freedom Foundation expresses its deepest empathy and sympathy upon the passing of civil rights titan Dolores Huerta. The sterling example of speaking absolute truth to power was never more exemplified by any human life than that of this towering figure of international human rights advocacy.

I was deeply honored to meet Dolores Huerta in 2010, when we were both recognized by the Pacific Palisades Democratic Club. To share that distinction with such an iconic figure in the American labor and civil rights movements was a truly meaningful honor.
