“You people are a joke” – Plus MRFF Rick Baker’s Response

I have no desire to practice any particular religion, but, from my perspective, you people are are joke.  You can not be serious!!!  Get yourselves real jobs and grow up.

Trish is out looking for a real job, so I wanted to make sure your letter was answered.

I’m Rick Baker, a regional coordinator for MRFF.

I don’t know what your criticisms are about precisely but I assume they deal with our monitoring of religious irregularity in the armed forces and our efforts to establish and undertake remedies.

You say you are not religious but you seem to somewhat upset with our goals. Those who are in opposition to MRFF’s efforts are generally deeply involved in religion and practice their beliefs in the extreme.

Perhaps you are not aware that MRFF’s major role is to assist our young men and women in the armed forces who are subject to overt and coercive Christian proselytizing. We are currently addressing over 16,000 client cases in which our young Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, Sailors, Coast Guard, National Guard, Reserves and Cadets at our Service Academies are asking for our help to keep from being harassed by what are known as “Dominion Christian” organizations and operatives.

I can assure you they do not consider our help a “joke.”

Take a moment and Google “Dominion Christianity” and “Christian Reconstructionism.”
This will give you a chilling glimpse into what our young military members face. New extreme Christian organizations are forming regularly under the banner of Dominionism with some pretty scary agendas. One such is the New Apostolic Reformation “Prayer Warriors.” Here is a URL:

We are appreciative of those who write to us, even those who have negative feelings. I say this because taking the time to write back and explain our positions has made many friends out of potential enemies. We have found that those concerned enough to write, once in possession of the truth concerning MRFF, become valuable allies.
