I can understand where you are coming from but you are a minority that have that feeling. I am respectful of all and say this with the utmost respect for your beliefs.
I believe you owe these marines an apology for bringing up an issue that was not at all what you see. This is bordering on the reverse. All it does is bring up your cause, not what they are doing.

Dear (name withheld),
I understand that the historical significance of the SS lightning bolt symbol are not particularly well-known to a lot of people. In this particular case, though, the symbol is a part of the Marine’s hate group training and is already supposed to be prohibited. The leaders who allowed this can’t hide behind ignorace. There are about a billion ways to write “SS” and only one of them is a symbol of Nazi genocide. They knew exactly what they were flying because the only place to get the SS flag is a Nazi paraphenalia website. Yes, it’s gone on for a while. That’s not a point in their favor. It just indicates an ongoing pattern of negligent leadership.

One has to wonder how far up the chain of command this goes, from so called rendition; black site prisons; torture; and now this, it shows a lack of discipline starting from the top commanders and disrepects those Men & Women in uniform who risk thier lives from ALL countries, who are fighting this type of radical ideology, and I believe puts them at greater risk.
I had read that some countries have signed off on the banning of Nazi ideology, have you seen or heard any of this?
The insignia used is blatant Schutzstaffel .. paramilitary group under Hitler, and guilty of crimes against humanity, seems it is still doing this, are these soldiers also part of the same group caught urinating on corpses?
A sad day for the military and those honest Men & Women whose lives are more at risk due to actions such as this.
