Dear (name withheld),
Thank you so much for your note to MRFF. If you will check our web site at militaryreligiousfreedom.org in the coming days you will probably see it in our hate mail section.
Of course, your letter is very mild compared to the bulk of others sent by good Christians who have misjudged us and in which many dreadful things are said.
Many pray for the painful death of our founder and president, Mikey Weinstein, and his wife and children. They predict an eternity of pain and suffering in hell for all connected with MRFF. But your prayers are always welcome.
Many hope and believe that the method of death for Mr. Weinstein and family is to have Jesus “tear out their guts!”
Now I think that’s a bit violent and something Jesus would not do.
And all this just for ensuring that each member of the armed forces gets the freedom of religion guaranteed to them by the US Constitution and the freedom from militant and aggressive Dominionist Christians such as we have been informed about in over 33,200 complaints from our young men and women in the military who have experienced overt and coercive Christian based proselytizing from superiors.
Oh well, I guess harsh criticism comes with the territory. Especially when some folks don’t understand that we are not Anti-Christian just anti-overbearing religion.
