A Facebook group called “Stand with Tenessee” is blaming Mikey Weinstein for the USAF changing some of the lyrics to it’s official song to be gender neutral, despite the linked article never mentioning Mikey, nor the Military Religious Freedom Foundation.

You are correct, one can’t change the past. That said, modifying words in songs to reflect the current situation is admirable. It reflects well on the students who are changing their world to make it better.
Please explain (if you disagree with me) how honoring the here/now takes away from there/then aka history?
