Trampling Rights

In all due respect you are trampling on individuals freedom to exercise their religion by dismantling the prayer by military Chaplins. This is especially offensive for two reasons. First, the job of a Chaplin is inextricably connected to God. Secondly, in a Country where the overwhelming majority do believe in God, at a fear inducing and insecure time as created by a Pandemic, faith is a source of strength and wisdom. I get the separation of church and state but your actions in this case are outside this protection. I find it reckless that you would proceed with this issue with millions in dire need of food, security, rent, health, comfort, etc. Please in the future, consider the legitimacy and timing of your remarks and actions.
Respectfully,
A Practicing Catholic and former Military wife
