Large stone memorial installed on a government-run property at Monument Cemetary, CO bearing all military branch insignia with the inscription “Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American soldier. One died for your soul, the other died for your freedom. We honor those who made freedom a reality.”

We would like to thank the Military Religious Foundation for its response to our alerting you to the egregious writing on this new memorial. We had tried to research this issue with the church that sponsored the scout group but they denied having anything to do with the wording.
