First, I’m a big fan of all the work you do.
The Air Force Academy has a history of fundamentalist intolerance, as you know. I don’t think that the mass shooting of LGBT people in Colorado Springs was a random event. A huge influential and intolerant institution in a city has an influence that extends past the edge of the campus. The Academy being a large federal institution gives its imprimatur to intolerance in Colorado Springs.

I concure. Family members who served at academy returned as arrogant self righteous anti-lgbtq bigots after career retirement. Officer, no less.
