Air Force 1st Lt. Roslyn L. Schulte was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on May 20, 2009. 1st Lt. Schulte was the Air Force Academy’s 10th graduate — and first female graduate, who was also Jewish — killed in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. She was 25.
