The Military Religious Freedom Foundation is Profoundly Honored and Privileged to Have MRFF Advisory Board Member Mike Farrell Deliver MRFF’s 2023 Midyear Appeal Video Message.
During this midyear donation cycle, I have asked a cherished friend, deeply valued member of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) Advisory Board and 2011 MRFF Thomas Jefferson honoree, Mike Farrell, to personally ask for your support in our ongoing civil rights advocacy work. Mike graciously recorded an appeal video of which the transcript has been included as an enclosure in this, our 2023 Midyear Appeal.

No better organization to support than the Military Religious Freedom Foundation!
There are literally hundreds of better organizations to support. What a stupid thing to say.

Literally any organization that feeds, clothes, or takes care of humans. literally any organization that helps cure diseases. literally any organization that helps animals. Literally any organization that helps the environment. Use your brain.
Lets see… donate 50 bucks to MRFF where half of it goes immediately into Mickey Mouseteins pocket and the other half goes to the resources it takes for a gate guard to stop saying ” have a blessed day” OR donate 50 bucks to feed a starving child or animal.
Pretty fucking easy choice if you have any common sense.

When challenged refuses to cite one actual organization and insults the reading audience before breaking into a Gish Gallop of civilian concerns, all without naming one organization.

Would it bother you if I successfully petitioned the VA to put up an Atheist symbol in a common area?
In my many years of Government service, would it be a problem displaying a prominent Atheist symbol in my office as a manager of many government employees? When they come in for their mid-term reviews and annual appraisals, no issues right (most of them Christians).
I deployed many times into combat zones and I have deployed 100s of employees into combat zones, Saudi, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Afghanistan. Would it be OK for me to give them notice of a pending deployment with an Atheist symbol on display in my office or on my desk?
Of course it wouldn’t!
No more than it would for me to attempt to sway them from their religious faith.
That’s where Mikey and the MRFF come in. Like it or not, we maintain a secular military and are governed by a secular Constitution.
You can believe anything you want on a personal level, but when you proselytize any belief, in the military, you’ve overstepped your bounds and have violated the Constitution.
