MRFF Demands Despicable Ex-Chaplain Who Boasted of Preying on Soldiers Worn Down by Training Be Prohibited From Proselytizing at Army Event

Thirty-nine MRFF clients at Fort Drum, New York, are disgusted by the choice of former Army Ranger and chaplain Jeff Struecker as the speaker for their division’s Family Spiritual Readiness Breakfast & Annual Remembrance Ceremony on June 20.
As an Army chaplain, Struecker’s reprehensible tactic to proselytize Army Ranger trainees, which he boasted about on video, was to wait until the trainees had gone days without food or sleep before he “confronted” them with his religion, preying on these soldiers when they were so worn down that they didn’t have the strength or will to resist.

Mr. Weinstein’s opening salvo in MRFF’s letter to the Major General is particularly superb and has me smiling:

Your Lord and Savior was Jewish while alive. So is he not in your heaven?

But if a Jewish person converts before death they’d be Christian when they die. Are you saying even if they convert they’d still be considered Jewish?
So, your statement “Same goes for Catholics, Muslims, Buddhists, Mormons, Atheists, Agnostics, whatever your religious background” means if the person did die after conversion they’d be considered second class citizens of heaven by your definition.
Also – Catholics are Christian, the first Christian church if one takes the time to read history.
I don’t expect a reply with any meaningful facts. Religion truly brings out the worst in some humans.

I read the official report the US Army made of the memorial service. Yes, Jeff Struecker spoke, and if the reporting is accurate he didn’t mention religion at all.
Of course, I’ve read the official accounting. What actually happened is open for additional investigation as I’d just as soon trust a poisonous snake as an Evangelical target fixated on winning souls for their imaginary battle in the clouds.
