211 MRFF clients at Fort Liberty, 165 of them Christian, want the Faith2Soar Christian bookstore, with its obtrusive displays of “Jesus” t-shirts and other Christian messages, both outside of the store and hanging on its unavoidable kiosk, removed from the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES)-run Fort Liberty PX mini-mall.
But AAFES — blatantly ignoring its own stated “Core Value” of “Respect Everyone” — is apparently going to allow this advertisement-for-Christianity-of-a-store to stay.
When asked by Military Times if AAFES sells religious items for Jewish, Muslim, or other faiths in its stores, AAFES spokesman Chris Ward blithely answered: “Customer demand determines product and service availability.” So much for “Respect Everyone”!!!
Faith2Soar owner Josh Creson, telling The Christian Post of his own conversion to Christianity, said he “credited his peers in the military with ‘planting the seeds’ by sharing their faith with him.”
Creson further said he sees his Fort Liberty store “as his mission to help service people emotionally and spiritually,” and “We find that our presence here is not just being a for-profit store”
Yes, because his off-post store — less than a mile away — doesn’t have the right “presence” to facilitate the proselytizing of Fort Liberty’s soldiers like an on-post store does!

Any other faith than Christian nationalism tried this trick and the howling from the peanut gallery could be heard when standing on Venus, assuming one has the gear to survive standing on Venus.
I am certain Fort Liberty will (eventually with much feet dragging) do the correct thing but in truth, the kiosk shouldn’t have been allowed to open in the first place.

I would imagine sales at this Christian bookstore has fallen off a bit with the looming Government shut down and no pay for military members until they get a budget passed.
McCarthy has scheduled an impeachment hearing two days before a pending Government shutdown. You know, priorities. But not to worry, Congressional pay doesn’t stop in a shut down so they can continue on with their impeachment hearing, put the budget on the back burner. Their staff will be working for free until they can get a budget passed, but, how much staff do you need for Republicans to work on public pissing in DC?
But the military is going to have to work without pay until Christian Republicans get around to passing a CR or a budget. Probably an impact on “Faith2Soar!”
They may have another issue on their hands with Lauren Boebert. If she was vaping cannabis in the Buell Theater, they may have to convene a special prosecutor to look into her federal crimes of lying on her gun purchase forms. I s’pose she could stand trial with Hunter? You know, efficiency of the Government?

Word on the street is any increased profits or foot traffic directed at the Faith2Store is the result of voices of authority telling their flock where to go, what to do. They pay for the location to sell their products giving money to the government. This store in no way is sponsored by the government. In fact I would be worried about the group going after them as God can help those who hit rock bottom in unique ways. Also please read the constitution and the amendment covering this. The government is supposed to stay out of religion. Additionally, off of your dumb argument you shouldn’t sell alcohol at all on base. Eliminate all contracted store fronts.
