The Alarm of Christian Nationalism Has Been Raised by MRFF for Decades; Now Trump Allies Prepare to Infuse It Into a Second Administration
MRFF has been waging a non-stop battle against the dangerous, democracy-threatening ideology of Christian nationalism that permeated the U.S. military long before Trump came on the scene, or members of Congress began proudly proclaiming themselves to be Christian nationalists.
In fact, MRFF has been fighting Christian nationalism in our military since before the term “Christian nationalism” was even being used, let alone a subject of widespread reporting by the media.
Just the headline of today’s excellent article from Politico — “Trump allies prepare to infuse ‘Christian nationalism’ in second administration” — would have our nation’s founders turning in their graves and should terrify every American who values freedom.

I think Christian Nationalism can pretty much be summed up by the Bill in the Texas House:

Although satirical, it pretty much falls in line with Christian Nationalist thinking as they work to legislate their way toward their coveted Gilead.

The MAGAT’s Project 2025 pretty much lays out their plans with a timeline, Christian Nationalism a big part.
Retired LTG Michael Flynn (who should have been recalled to active duty and Court Martialed), has been running around the country proselytizing (grifting), and stirring up the MAGATs in favor of a theological basis for governance.
The good news is that Trump’s not going to make it to a second term and once he gets his ass locked up, a lot of this will go away. He fucks up everything he touches! Literally ranked in last place for all US Presidents, the boy really needs to figure out who’s going to change his diapers for him in prison!
Much of this stems from the manic panic coming from the right as younger folks opt out of their biblical bullshit.
Christianity is on the wane, their own efforts to bolster their power accelerating the decline. Their efforts to force their religion on others having just the opposite effect.
If Christ were to come back today they’d string him up for being too “woke!” You know, Sermon on the Mount, love your neighbor and all that caper.
Much too “liberal” for the doctrine of MAGATism that pervades the Christian National ideology.

As I understand the separation of foundations the the MRFF and the FRFF cover all the options to be free from religion. I’ve not followed the FRFF lately so I’m not sure of how they are doing in the here/now (hope they are well). But back in the day they were up front and center in the battle to keep Christian nationalism out of our schools. Then the former guy happened and I lost track. Too many assaults on ones freedoms means, at least for me, I had to prioritize which battles to focus on as there were so many. Fortunately We The People are legion.

I’m almost a senior citizen and I’ve never seen or heard any politician in the USA claim they want communism to come to the country. The ranting about communism by some in this country is an attempt to distract the public from their own attempt to impose a kleptocratic, theocratic dictatorship. We’ve already lost freedom of religion in most states. And they’re just getting started, with the help of foreign governments and their disinformation campaigns, and the Supreme Court majority.

In order to get social security, you have to have legal residency in the United States and be allowed to work. You can be a foreigner and get social security, but you have to be legally authorized to work in this country! In other words, foreigners working in this country pay in to social security just like Americans do.

If your political leaders were truly against socialism, they’d completely do away with the Veterans Administration, where even the doctors are government employees, as socialist as it gets!
