I believe these people all miss the point of “discipling”.  Christians are to bring people to faith in Jesus by the way they live and treat others.  People should want to be Christians because they see the love and beauty of the Christian life.  They should be influenced by that love to want to join, not because they are forced or coerced or proselytized but because they want the life Christians have.  Would I like to see all that they want to do, yes.  But not because they have made it law but because people want it for themselves.  They will not succeed but only create a theocracy that is strife with sin.  Work on Brother and may God Bless what you do.  🔯✝️

“Christians are to bring people to faith in Jesus by the way they live and treat others.”

People shouldn’t need to be “brought” at all: if this religion is, as its proponents claim, the ultimate truth in the universe, isn’t it reasonable to expect that people will find and come to it in their own way and own good time, without it being forced on them or bribes being offered, i.e. an express ticket to heaven in exchange for piety and money in the collection plate?

I, the Atheist, am, therefore, not the one of little faith, these relentless proselytizers are. One would think they receive a commission for every head of cattle they round up.

The writer’s comment that people should want to come to Christianity because they should want the life that Christian’s have.

I wouldn’t want a Christian life, subservient to preacher man and the church, always “serving,” tithing, multiple weekly church services, irrational thinking, a self-enforced mental illness doled out by the clergy to get you into the good graces of God (and the church), subject to a church hierarchy, closed off from reality, isolated from rational thinking leading to dysfunctional mental capacity, unable to think for yourself or have an opinion that isn’t given to you.

All for the magic man in the sky that watches your every move, especially at night, and especially when you’re naked!

More empirical evidence for the tooth fairy than the Christian God!

It’s all about power, money, greed, and control!

Christians – take back your religion!
