One Day — Two MRFF Victories! Air Force Academy Finally Responds to FOIA Requests After MRFF Files Lawsuit; 3-Star General Facilitates Investigation of Christians-Only Prayer at Graduation
VICTORY #1:
In October 2022, MRFF submitted three FOIA requests to the Air Force Academy. For nearly three years, the Academy stonewalled MRFF, with delay after delay and excuse after excuse for not producing the requested documents. So, two weeks ago, MRFF filed a federal lawsuit against the Academy. Yesterday, the Academy sent responses to all three requests.
MRFF is currently evaluating the Academy’s responses, and should we find them to be unsatisfactory, we’ll just sue them some more.
VICTORY #2:
A 3-star Army general responded to MRFF’s Mikey Weinstein regarding a MRFF client’s complaint about the Christians-only prayer at a recent Army Sustainment University graduation, leading to a commander’s inquiry into the complaint.

Both news items are great news. I thought the DOD would stall some more but someone somewhere decided to assist rather than delay so Yay! Glad they answered the FOIA requests.
As for the Christian only prayer at the Army Sustainment University graduation… you’d think they’d learn. You’d think that with the DOD having over 100 recognized official religions that a Christian only (and you know it wasn’t all the welcoming to SOME Christians) would be a nonstarter.
Let it not be said that the Nationalist Christians give up on an idea, even if that idea incorrect to the power of existing on the wrong side of history. Stubborn folks, kind of have to give them credit for their perceverance. That said, they need to learn to share or they will reap the harvest of their actions.
I’ve said it many times, when all religion is banned from the public square anyone who is fussy about the decision can take their complaints to the Christian Nationalist service desk.
Pathetic that the Christian Nationalists in the military would force their beliefs on those under their charge mandating worship of a pedophilic child-abusing Christian creator-God having impregnated the 12 year old virgin wife of another man to give Bob Marley the devine inspiration for a “redemption” song some 2,000 years later.
He couldn’t have just “created” himself in the flesh as he did Adam now could he?
