MRFF client reacts to Hegseth’s Quantico meeting: “You guys at the MRFF are badly needed now more than ever to counter these toxic religious zealots that Trump, Hegseth and MAGA want to force on us.”

Subject: MRFF needed now more than ever

Dear Mikey,

I have been a client of the MRFF for nearly a year now and I felt I had to write this to you after seeing that embarrassing “photo op” that Hegseth and Trump had with our top Generals, Admirals and their senior enlisted personnel last week at Quantico, VA. It was devastating, divisive, destructive, demeaning and it went against everything that I swore to uphold when I became a junior noncommissioned officer in the United States Army and as we saw from the looks and silence that our top brass had in that auditorium, they felt the same as I. 

I do want to say that I am extremely proud of how professional and disciplined our top brass were in the face of such pressure to become political pawns, especially from two pathetic excuses of men who claim to know what it means to be a warrior, who are complete cowards and who are nothing but bullies while claiming to be “good Christians.” What they preached there like they do everyday goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ who preached empathy, care and compassion for our fellow human beings no matter who they are and no matter their background.

After seeing everything from that meeting, I realized that you guys at the MRFF are badly needed now more than ever to counter these toxic religious zealots that Trump, Hegseth and MAGA want to force on us to turn us away from our oath to the constitution and towards loyalty to their toxic cause. I never wanted to think it would come to this but apparently anything is possible these days, it may be that the final line of defense for our nation may come down to the top brass of our great military and most importantly the support and continued fight of the MRFF.

I thank you and pray for you for all you do for us everyday.
