Has anyone checked in with him to see if his pacemaker hasn’t failed? As eager as I am NOT to see him write about MRFF not singing the praises of Americans who volunteered for service in the armed forces, but had the misfortune to die in service in the course of an illegal, undeclared war, I wouldn’t want Old Soldier to have passed without notice. Much as I disagree with his policy positions, I still honor his service.

Tom O, thank you very much for posting the link to “The War Prayer”. We should not allow powerful people to use religious ideals to overcome our humanity and drive us to violence against others with whom we have no quarrel.
JD Vance, in one of the Orange Diaper Boy’s praise-the-dear-leader meetings, sends blessings out to the Christian troops engaged in the illegal Iran war and in the next breath, Little Marco condemns Iran for having religious leadership. SNL couldn’t make this shit up, the dripping irony.
The message is clear. If you’re in the military, and Christian, we value your service (even though not a thought is given about sending you off to fight an illegal war), but if you’re not Christian, we’ll still send you off to fight an illegal war but really couldn’t care less whether you make it back, you’re not Christian. And, of course, your patriotism is measured by your devotion to Christianity.
The real truth, obviously, is that none of the Epstein class gives two shits what happens to you. You’re nothing but a tool. You’re in the military. They own you, literally! You’re there to serve them! And they make money, lots of it, off of your participation! They profit handsomely from it. And it’s completely supported by senior military leadership. You know, “selfish service” over selfless service.
You know what you get for your “service?” You get another pin to put on your military uniform and maybe a couple of pieces of paper that says you were a good boy. An award that you can put on the wall in your “I love me corner.” It’s a great return on their money. They throw a couple trinkets at you and a few pieces of paper, and you fight and die for the growth of their bank accounts. They throw in a few words like freedom, patriot, and Jesus; they make you feel ‘special,” until they can’t get any more out of you, and then discard you into the “suckers and losers” pile.
In today’s military, you get extra points for helping the creator of the universe bring about the “end-times.” Because, you know, the creator is getting kind of old now and needs some help!
They can spend $83 million dollars per hour of every day prosecuting an illegal war (not to mention the cost of replenishment and replacement of military equipment, but you want a raise in the minimum wage for the country? Whats that? You want reasonably priced health care? Good schools? Good roads? Clean air?
Go fuck yourself! You should be ashamed to ask for anything other than what you’ve got. You are there to “serve!” Period!

Manner said he has talked with “dozens and dozens” of active-duty chaplains in recent weeks who say those who don’t identify with Hegseth “are being marginalized.” They feel they can’t voice their concerns to their own superiors, he said, and feel their work as the primary advocate for troops’ spiritual, mental and moral health is being threatened.”
My first reaction was to laugh out loud because I mean really? The MRFF has been battling this very issue for more than a minute but now it directly affects them and they are worried they are being marginalized? Yeah, I know, I’m still chuckling because what do they think the MRFF was talking about all that time.

I wanted to bring it up here but my physical self was going through some things so here we are now.

Seriously, has anyone else watched the videos of the current admins fans slavering about how we need to cut health care in order to fund this war? Did you catch the congresscritter on the congressional floor say for the record that she doesn’t believe climate change is an issue because her lord and savior was on his way to lift her and those who believe like her up and out of the way of harm (proving they do believe their actions cause harm but the just don’t care).
It’s March, historically a wild and windy month but one usually blessed with precipitation in all it’s glorious forms. I once was in a storm where it was foggy, rained, sleeted, snained (advanced form of sleet), and snowed all within thirty minutes of the storm’s start. And this year there’s been one or two low volume snow storms that melt even as they are falling. We’ve had 80 degree temps. In March.
And that’s not even mentioning the epic fires raging across mostly empty farmlands. Too early to plant, not enough moisture to stop the fire’s progression.
OK – not going to gloom and doom y’all. Not my style. Do remember that during COVID it took less than a year for nature to recover a bit. And I’m following several small farmers who are walking away from monoculture planting to focus on diverse and native plantings which increases the health of the soil in their fields. Native plants have deeper root systems which resist the effects of drought better than monoculture’s shallow roots. We can fix this but not while the religiously target blinded folks hold the levers of power.
You know what to do, vote out MAGA from dog catcher to every judge on the ballot. WeThePeople have got this – I watched almost eight million of my fellow citizens tell the world we are not going quietly into that dark night.

I’ve never mocked the deity Jesus Christ. Even Synergy hasn’t mocked the deities of Nat-C’s but he certainly mocks their followers, especially hypocritical pieces of work like you old soldier who hates everyone at the MRFF.
Perhaps if the followers of JC who now control all the levers of governmental power actually lived how their lord and savior told them to live there would be no need for mocking. But that’s not what is happening here/now.
