Atheism – Communism, What’s the Difference?

Wouldn’t it be nice if Atheists were to go live in Atheist countries like China?
Wouldn’t it be nice if gun-banning socialists were to go live in socialist countries where guns are banned, like Mexico?
Wouldn’t it be nice if the filth of the world would quit trying to fuck-up the United States?

Atheism is a belief system. There is nothing inconsistent between being an atheist and being an American. The atheists I know are nice, smart people who just don’t believe there’s a god.
I don’t know anyone who claims to be a communist, but it is an economic system. They don’t, as I understand the ideology, hate American principles, they disagree with its economic policies.
I do know some socialists and a lot of social democrats. Terrific people. None of them are gun-runners. The only gun-runners in my experience are the NRA and the people who make and sell guns, which is their right, but they keep us from having simple gun laws that protect our safety, which is not.
Mexico bans guns?
I’m not sure who you rank as the filth of the world, but I don’t know anyone who is “trying to fuck up the United States.”
Is there anything else I can do for you?

Dear (name withheld),
Saw your note to MRFF and thought I’d toss my opinion into the mix.
Wouldn’t’ it be nice if all the right-wing, racist, Religious Supremacists would quietly go to their places of worship and shut the fuck up?
One of the basic freedoms guaranteed to Americans is Atheism. You don’t have to believe in God to be an American.
One of the things that give religion and religious people a black eye is their need to proselytize others and make them believe as they do. It’s classic. Religion is one of the most dangerous forces on Earth and is responsible for the death of millions.
Live and let live is a great way to go through life. We must stop trying to make people believe the way we do.
