I just wanted to say thank you for your service, you were at Khe Sahn, as I understand it, I cannot truly relate because I wasn’t there, but I can only imagine.
I also wish to apologize for my zealous nature when it comes down to my beliefs and my God, we are taught as christians and believe it or not, I am one, even though I don’t claim to be perfect and I know that that’s not an excuse but we are taught to love the Jewish people for it was God who told Abraham “I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee”.
I’m big enough to admit that there might be some issues that I may be wrong in, but I hope that you’ll understand that I live on the West Coast and I’m used to dealing with athestic self-absorbed yuppies and admittedly I fly off the handle (which I’m working on), especially when it comes down to both my God and my Country, but anyways again my humble apologizes

No apologies necessary, but if there are any going, please accept mine for being unnecessarily hard on you for your communications skills. That was unfair and I felt badly about it. I can tell you are a sincere man, and at heart a good one, and that is more important than how good a writer you are or aren’t.
I can only say in mitigation that my fuse has also become rather short these days (though I have tried to keep it under control), as we are daily inundated with a load of hateful, violent and often obscene and vile spew from people, most of whom call themselves Christians, but in who I see nothing of the supposed Christian virtues of love, compassion, or brotherhood . (And believe me, although your original letter was not too friendly, you are FAR from the worst we get.) Here’s one I keep to show people who think there is no problem that was sent to Mr. Weinstein – I left the spelling and hate-speech intact for you to enable you to see what we deal with.

BTW, I lived in the Bay Area for some years, before it became “yuppified” and frankly, I don’t care much for some of them either.
So let’s just start again, this time with respect for one another, which is a principle I think we can both agree on. As I said, we are here for ALL people’s rights, but due to the situation with the radical right Dominionists I spoke of, many of our cases deal with people who call themselves “Christians.” We have so far had few complaints on any other group.
However, we know these “Christians” are not all Christians (for one thing, we have some great Christians in our group) – just as we know not all Muslims are terrorists. We try to separate the wheat from the chaff, and act accordingly.

Again, my apologies for my earlier rudeness, and my sincere condolences on your terrible losses. I know How I would feel if my dear wife and family were to pass away.
