I’m curious, (name withheld), do you realize how rude and offensive it is to pray for a person who doesn’t want your prayers? Let’s put aside the absurdity of your belief that you can telepathically communicate with celestial beings, and focus on the sheer rudeness and condescension of doing so for a person who doesn’t want it. How would you feel knowing that a pagan or Wiccan was casting a spell on you? How would you feel being told that a Satanist was performing a black magic ritual with you as the target? Those practices are identical to what you call “praying for someone”, when you claim to beseech your own supernatural powers to interfere with someone else’s life. Of course, in reality you’re just babbling to yourself, but it’s rude. Find something more productive to do.

It’s easy to be angry. Especially when it comes to percieved threats to what we hold dear. I once considered myself an atheist/nonbeliever. Not so much anymore. It is thoroughly convincing to me that an all powerful something exists; I can only assume that this is what Jesus was so adamant about his followers to give their respect to. Regardless of what you or I believe, we live in a Nation of States under a Constitution. We are free to believe as we wish, even if we are wrong. Mikey wants to protect that Natural Right within the Armed Forces. This is vital because the last thing we need is the world’s most powerful force of arms taking sides of anything other than Liberty. He may seem anti-Christian and proud of it. But how does that matter when he not only fights for the non believers as I used to be, as well as the religious as folks? The threat is real and I have had it crush me a few times. I went from super motivated to not having any at all. I loved serving until all of that went down south. I was no longer good enough even though like you, I cared so deeply. My Right to be wrong is sacred because it helps me grow from my misgivings and blunders in life. But that doesn’t matter when you’re watching your buddies back on a mission. Even though I believe in a higher power now, it may not be the right brand of higher power/God that my former leaders would see as proper. Can you see how that could ruin your morale?Mikey may upset you with his tactics and strategy. But I assure you that desperate times call for these bold and blatant initiatives. Mikey isn’t the enemy you should wish a crushing defeat to. If your God is truly right, he will be defeated, correct? Direct that enthusiasm and obvious talents toward the commanders and lawmakers that forced people like Mikey to take brash positions. What would you do if someone threatened the most important thing to you?(name withheld)
