Hypocrisy
Hi (name withheld),
I’m super confused now. You see, everyone else writing in says that MRFF is bowing and scraping to atheists. Now you are saying they are bowing and scraping to Muslims? Forgive me if I find this amusing.
I’ve always been impressed by people who manage to quote something that completely refutes their own position while thinking that it supports them. Not impressed in a good way, but impressed nonetheless.
You quoted part of the First Amendment: “or abridging the free exercise thereof”, but you seem utterly oblivious to the definition of “free”. Do you actually think that “free” means “given a government (tax-funded) microphone and a government stage and a government uniform with government credibility and government endorsement?” You have an amusing definition of “free”. In the real world, “free” mean that nobody stops you, NOT that everybody is forced through taxation and subsidies and official endorsement to assist you.
You may not remember the signature block that you’ve set to accompany your emails, but I find it fitting to remind you:
“I have reached the age where my train of thought often leaves the station without me.”
I’m not so sure that I’d blame it on your age, but the train has certainly left the station.
Regards,
Dustin Chalker
