Thanks for your insightful and thought-provoking observations.  The time that you took to articulate your position was well-spent, as it makes clear the depth of your intellect and the effort that you’ve extended to understand the complex issues in which the MRFF engages.

However, I feel compelled to point out that the activity in which you’ve asked Mikey to engage is physically impossible; therefore, he will not be complying with your request. But feel free, as you deem appropriate, to continue with your own experimentation.

Dear (name withheld),

I am writing in response to your May 22, 2015 email to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (“MRFF”).  As a volunteer for MRFF, I have had the privilege of responding to many emails received by MRFF.  I usually explain the mission of MRFF; how it has assisted thousands of service members suffering from religious discrimination or persecution at the hands of their superiors; the legal requirements of the Establishment Clause, Article VI of the Constitution, military regulations, etc.  I sometimes even mention that MRFF has received seven nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize.

 

Yet, I must admit I am at a loss as to how to respond to a scholar of such high caliber, as yourself.  “WHINEstein” – pure genius!  In all the years MRFF has been fighting to protect the Constitutional rights of the brave men and women in uniform who sacrifice so much to protect our rights, nobody has ever before come up that particular pun.  It’s funny because the word “whine” sounds like the beginning of his last name!

 

I also really enjoy your claim, “mikey WHINEstein IS AN ASSHOLE.”  It has a childlike, back-of-the-school-bus-taunt ring to it – something like, “I know you are, but what am I?” or “I’m rubber, you’re glue.”  What a refreshing way to express a point!

 

These words are dripping with sarcasm, which I hope you are picking up because I’m laying it on pretty thick.  Your email is nothing more than a juvenile tantrum.  If you have an actual concern and would like to express it like an adult, I will be happy to address it.  If you simply want to spout profanity or are looking for somebody’s lunch money to steal, I suggest you look elsewhere.
