Elizabeth Hasselbeck is awesome! Besides what is wrong with a sign that is wishing that God will bless the military, their families and all civilians, what harm is it doing? If atheists don’t like it, they can close their eyes and walk or drive by. This is almost along par with the Muslim pandering that goes on in our nation and others, oh we should not offend the Muslims and if they scream loud enough we will just conform to all their wishes.
What is interesting is that I just read today that even some of Mikey’s allies are calling this a petty thing to be doing. So what is next, shall we remove crosses by the highway marking where someone’s loved died in an accident if a atheist screams loud enough, or shall we remove the crosses from soldiers graves at Arlington, if we do that then we need to remove all the Star of David’s from Jewish graves. Maybe if it will appease the atheists, we will just put a pitchfork and devil horns on their graves, since their god is Satan!
Finally speaking of the Pope, what a waste of time for him to come to the US, just to speak Humanistic and Marxist ideology and to talk about something that is a scientific hoax called climate change. Scientists have shown that our planet goes through cyclic ebb and flows of change of climate wise. He did not even touch on the thousands of Christians that are being persecuted in the Middle east, human sex trafficking, the defunding of the baby homicide place called Planned Parenthood.
So, atheists, scream and shout all you want, Jews and Christians are not going anywhere, we are hear to stay.
May God bless our military, families and civilians at every military base here and abroad! The way our society is going today, we need God’s blessings rather than His wrath!
Perhaps Yeshua Warrior is unaware that he is taking God’s name in vain? Also, at the risk of repeating the obvious, Mikey and company don’t object to people being religious, just to people shoving their form of religion down the throats of others. Especially down the throats of people who are lower ranking and unable to stand up against people who can sabotage their careers if they don’t play along whether they like it or not.
He’s clearly unaware that many of the people who support the MRFF are religious, and that no one thinks religion is necessarily bad. Just post that sort of thing in your yards, on your church signs or on your own personal property, NOT on government property where lower ranks get the ‘message’ that if they don’t play along they’ll get in trouble. Attend your own church, synagogue. temple or mosque. You can even get time off on your chosen day or worship most of the time, or else your co-workers will cover your shift for you! That’s what we do in the military, help each other!
Unlike Yeshua Warrior, the Pope has some intelligence and education. Deep down inside, the Pope probably knows there is no ‘gawd’, but it would be totally against his self interest to announce it.
Deborah, please tell me how I am taking the God’s name in vain? Also, how can a simple sign be shoving anything down anyone’s throat? If you don’t like, don’t look at it or ignore it, just easy as that.
So what is next, will atheists try to outlaw people saying God bless you when someone sneezes? No crosses along the highway for dead loved ones?

I am sure the Pope deep down knows there is a God, otherwise he would have never become a priest let alone Pope. My main concern is whether he is truly born again and will spend eternity in heaven.
Such a little deal, a sign blessing our troops. Who wouldn’t be for something so innocent, amirite? So, lets change things up a little.
Satan Bless Our Troops – after all the Satanists have skin in this game. How about Allah Bless Our Troops – because you know percentage wise there are Muslims in the military. And my favorite – Thor Bless Our Troops. I’m sure those signs would be just fine next to the God Bless sign.
The Military is a branch of the United States Government. It can not advertise for ANY religion. It’s against the law, it’s against our Bill of Rights and Constitution, something Yeshua Warrior seems to not understand.
I’ve accused Yeshua Warrior of not sharing before. His response lets me know he doesn’t understand why I say what I do. Well, his comments make the not sharing theme very clear. The Pope is Catholic – the original Christian religion and YW is worried the Pope (the head of the church) won’t get into heaven because he’s not a Born Again Christian like himself??????
Not everyone has to believe the same as anyone else. My soul is fine without YW’s dogma. I will fight for your right to believe as you wish but the moment you decide that I have to follow what you say because /religion/ it will be game on. As a Viking I’m betting on my side winning – we do have that way with pillaging and all. :D

You forgot one other possibility for that sign, one that most people would agree with in any case.

After all, if reason was stressed more in this country, rather than emotion, knee-jerk reactions, and personal religious beliefs, many of the problems that exist would start to be solved.

You are showing your lack of knowledge of church history. For one Catholicism is not the first or original Christian religion. Actually, the first believers were Jewish followers of Jesus, and they were the first to be called Christians, so Catholicism is not the first form of Christianity.
Secondly, being the Pope does not guarantee ones place in heaven and he is not the head of the church, Jesus a Jew is the head of the church!
Being Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist, Mormon, Baptist, Protestant, a doer of good deeds, etc., will not get anyone into heaven, only by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, confessing your sins and repenting of them will get someone into heaven, so, it is not by believing or having “my form of religion” as you put, but these are Jesus’ rules not mine. He said that no man can attain heaven but by only going through Him. He is the Son of God, so what He says goes!
Oh yeah Connie, last time I checked, there are no more Vikings today, they all died off like the Assyrians, Caaninites, Romans, Persians, Philistines, etc, the only Vikings there are today play football in Minnesota.

YW – Sigh. Yeah, just sigh. I don’t want to fight with you about the shades of differences in Christianity. You will never see my point and I know your point is incorrect. The main difference is I understand you have the right in these United States to worship as you see fit, just as I have the right to worship as I see fit. You believe you have the answer for everyone but you don’t. You have the answer for you and only you.

Actually, I don’t have the answer to everyone, but Jesus does. Jesus said that there is a path that is wide that leads to destruction, but there is a path that is narrow which leads to eternal life, and Connie I am afraid that you are on the wide path right now that leads to destruction according to Jesus.
YW, can you prove that Connie is on the path to destruction?
