I really really wish there was some way to get the question about theses signs into the presidential debates. I’d love to hear what Trump, Carson et. al. would say in response to question about whether military should take down the sign (war on xtians) or put up the additional 6 signs to represent (mostly) everyone’s views.

Pls keep up the good work & ignore the haters (no matter how bad their grammar and spelling are).

Joel, I think you will find that all of the presidential candidates have no problem with the sign!

If there were a sign put up for the Jews, it would not big enough for all the names there is of God in the OT – Yahweh, Jehovah, Elohim, Adonai, Jehovah-Rapha, Jehovah-Nissi, Jehovah-Shalom, just to mention a view of His names. Also, Christians would not have any problem with a Jewish sign since Christians and Jews worship the same God!

Then how come the Jews don’t believe in the New Testament?

    G,

The Jews do not believe in the New Testament because they will not accept that Jesus is their Messiah, plain and simple. However, Jews and Christians worship Jehovah God or Yahweh.

If Jews do not want to accept Jesus as their Messiah, that is their privilege and pejorative. plain and simple. Otherwise, they worship the same God as we do.

Okay so you nasty MRFF organization wants to remove the Bless the troops wordage. Fine. But here’s what I am going to ask ALL of our bases to post in huge lettering on the bases: Display the preamble to the constitution and and embolden the most crucial words of this preamble AND also post the military oath and again posting in HUGE lettering the words of faith and the proclamation SO HELP ME GOD! And anyone that took the oath that refused to say those words, well sorry for them, but the legal oath states SO HELP ME GOD. And I am also going to ask the military to allow all commissioned officers of faith to REFUSE to swear in any recruit that chooses to delete those words from his/her oath. You want to be try to instill divergence, incongruity, dissidence, disunity, friction, strife and discord. fine. I know your angle no matter what you say and I really don’t appreciate your tactics. I think you deliberately try to cause trouble. So I’m hoping the military gets wise and just takes the best of our preamble and their military oath and emblazons the bases in HUGE letters the most beautiful parts of each. Will you dare to try to attack the preamble of our constitution and the military oath that the MAJORITY of all soldiers take with true faith when they say SO HELP ME GOD? I am sending the attached blog to as many military bases, officers and soldiers I know. Can’t wait to see the LEGAL oath’s words SO HELP ME GOD emblazoned across our bases. I guess if you truly are for the liberties of our soldiers of faith this should be nothing for you try to slander since the Blessed Liberties of our constitution are ORDAINED. If you do I will be sure to let the world know your true colors and slam social medial with your antics. I have bad vibes about your organization and I’m very rarely wrong about my vibes. http://wp.me/p63Xqe-5

How do you know the oath is legal? In court, when a person is sworn to tell the truth, the person has the option not to put his/her hand on the Bible and doesn’t have to swear to God.

I don’t believe the officers can refuse to swear recruits when it comes to taking the oath if the recruit doesn’t want to say So help me God. You would turn away a lot of recruits and get hit with a lawsuit.

What makes you think our blessed liberties of our constitution are ordained by God? If they were ordained in the first place, we would have not fought a revolutionary war to get them.

    Juno,

You really need to get out more. The phrase “So help me God” is not mandatory in any pledge. In fact if you had Googled the subject before posting you would have discovered several people who did indeed sue because the phrase had been forced upon them. According to the Constitution which you say you follow there can’t be a religious test for military or governmental office. Pastor Joan has loads more info but be ready for a long read because there is a ton.

You’ve been listening to your preacher who must sound a lot like YW. Yeah… you might want to find another information source; one that doesn’t lie and mislead you.

As for including the subject in the presidential debates – I say hell yes! Let’s differentiate between those who follow the Constitution as written by the founding fathers and those who idolize their own concept of the Constitution (spoiler: what they believe and what exists are two different things) and insists their Bible has ultimate authority.

I’m voting for the person who really understands the First Amendment and the concept of separation of church and state.
