Sub: Thank You For Standing Up

From: Many of your USMC clients here aboard MCB Hawaii

Message:

I am an active duty U.S. Marine stationed at MCB Hawaii. I was one of the MRFFs first clients to request help regarding that ‘God Bless” sign aboard our base here on Oahu. I am a lifelong Christian to anyone who reads this. I am writing on behalf of 18 other Marines who for the MRFF is also representing and they have all approved of what I write. You guys all rock!

We all just wanted to offer thanks to all of you at the MRFF for fighting for our constitution rights to have that sign taken down or moved to our base chapel grounds. Also thanks for demanding the right to put up all of the other signs for the other religions. Or for our athiest fellow Marines. We all can see how jacked up the so called ‘Christian’ MRFF haters have gotten and we know you all are the targets of their hate attacks. That is so messed up and thank you all for standing up for us. You have our backs we all know this. We don’t want to expose our names because our chain would &#@* us into the dirt.

My (senior NCO name, rank, title and MOS withheld) got all jacked up and told our whole (USMC unit designation withheld) that “we will find out who the rats are who narc’ed us out to the #@%*% MRFF.” A lot of people are on edge here. And but we all know that the MRFF will still fight for us no matter what.

You should know that that sign causing all of this fight is only part of the problem. There is so much Christian bible stuff and proseltize pounded down our throats here by our chain. The fight over that sign has slowed it down maybe for a while. But they try hard to make it part of being a good Marine. That’s wrong and we know it and they do too. But till now nobody called them out before. They are mad as *&%@ about this and its about time they got confronted. But w/o the MRFF who here could confront our commander Col. Killeen and his staff and do the deed? The MRFF thats who!

Anyways thank you so much to all at the MRFF for all of this awesomeness which you guys do for us who can’t. We are sorry for the &^#@  your taking for us because of it.

    While I wish MRFF could have been there for my late husband, it gives me great joy to know you are here for the Marines on this base now.

    Every day I include you in my thoughts and prayers – for the good of all and may it harm none. Hopefully it offsets some of the ick aimed your way.
