Saw the article on the news this AM about YOU – over a woman who merely wanted to help “less fortunates” and her email _suggesting_ and _NOT_ asking anyone for anything.

– May God Bless You All for putting a  stop to that!!!

Perhaps you would consider a visit to Syria to save those d1ck-heads from THEIR “State Vs Religion!” – You’ll have a GREAT following there!  At the very least, send me back an IS1S souvenir? You’re NOT CHICKEN to show your cause to them, are you?!!!? _They_ Love The Topic Of State Vs. Religion! What’ve you got to lose? If you don’t believe in those 12(??) virgins or God, you’ve NOTHING to lose and you may even get a good contribution from them for your cause! Never hurts to try now does it!?! Let me know how you make out?!

Dear (name withheld),

Thanks for writing, and thanks for the tax advice. I’ll keep you in mind next April. As for your breathless objections and suggestions about the Dover AFB situation, I only have one comment (which I’ll try to keep brief because I’m betting that you will give it scant consideration)…
MRFF did not object to the concept of Operation Christmas Child.  Our objection was to the manner in which it was communicated, which was contrary to governing regulations about the promotion of any particular sectarian religious belief (and I’d hope you can admit that Franklin Graham’s program exists expressly for the purpose of Christian evangelization – you can find it right there on their website).
Let me ask you a question.
If I see you driving to church one Sunday morning, and I see that you are driving on the sidewalk, and I report you to the police…. Does that mean that I’ve objected to the fact that you are going to church?
Answer that question honestly, and you will have cracked the code about why we objected to the manner in which Operation Christmas Child was promoted at Dover AFB.
Peace,
Mike Challman
