Well at least Franklin Graham has ten times the integrity that Mikey will ever have!! What has Mikey and MRFF ever done to provide for the physical needs of those who have gone through a tragedy of floods, earthquakes, hurricanes or provided for the needs of little children like Franklin’s ministry Samaritan’s Purse has??? Oh there they are the crickets churping!
All Mikey is concerned with is taking in money from his contributors and keeping half of it for God knows what he spends it on?
No Mickey has more integrity than Mr. Graham Here is the MRFF mission statement if you had taken the time to click the “About” tab and then click on the “Mission” tab but you were too lazy to do your homework: “The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) is dedicated to ensuring that all members of the United States Armed Forces fully receive the Constitutional guarantee of religious freedom to which they and all Americans are entitled by virtue of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.”
We give tax breaks and subsidies to the owners of the various sporting teams, oil companies, electric utilities, etc. and good lords know what they spend it on or don’t spend it on.
Religious organisations were not very effective during the Great Depression of 1929 and during the Great Recession of 2008, because the magnitude of those two events were so large that the religious organisations were virtually overwhelmed. Due to many American losing their jobs especially after 2008, many churches had to close their doors because they did not have enough money to paid the bills since their source of revenue from Sunday mass had dried up. Of course, you did not see guys and gals like Pat Robinson and Frankie Graham suffering. Ooh, wow, tax breaks and subsidies, that is really helping feed starving kids in foreign countries like Samaritan’s Purse does!! At Christian ministries like Samaritan’s Purse is making contributions for Kingdom purposes and ministering in the name of Jesus!
Well duh, religious organizations were not effective during the Great Depression, being a Christian or a church does not mean that you are not going to suffer with others around you in the conditions of the day. Christians get cancer and die just like non-Christians, Christians lose their jobs just like non-Christians, Christians lose their houses to foreclosure just like non-Christians. The difference is that Christians are to have a different attitude when they suffer compared to how non-Christians respond to tough and tragic times. James/Jacob says “Consider it all joy when you go through various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance…”
Well the wealthy people and corporations have been saying for the last 35 years, that tax breaks, corporate subsidies, and globalization will make everyone prosperous and end poverty (even in Israel) but that has not happened now, has it?
Christians have a different attitude compare to non-Christians? I doubt it when you are trying to put food on the table and a roof over your head – in words Christians face survival just like anyone else. Of course, you have Republicans who keep believing that religious organizations are effective ones when it comes to dealing with economic depressions and recessions so you need to tell the Republicans that it is not true.
