Dear Mrs. Weinstein:

Please tell Mikey to grow a backbone.  This country was founded on Christianity, and Franklin is just stating facts about the Muslim terrorist acts.  Who was behind 9-11?  Remember that day?!

Dear (name withheld):

Thanks for your note to MRFF.
Mrs. Weinstein is  unable to respond at this time. My name is Rick Baker and I’m a regional coordinator for MRFF and wanted to make sure your message was answered promptly.

Bonnie has been under much stress in the past few years since the inception of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. She has been verbally and physically attacked, her home damaged and threats of impending death to her and her family have caused her to contract a dystrophic type affliction with which she is trying to deal. These awful things have been suffered at the hands of self-identified Christians.

Let us first examine your claim that America was founded on Christianity.  This is a false premise concocted by Christians for the benefit of Christians.  Nowhere in our pre-eminent founding document, the Constitution, is there any reference to Jesus, Christ, God or other deity.  Since several of the founders were of the Christian belief system, today’s Dominion Christian  community has transmogrified their personal Christian beliefs  into the grand foundation of  the United States.

There were as many Desists as Christians. Would this make America a “Deist Nation” on alternate weeks?

As for Muslim terrorist acts,  Islam has certainly been the foundation of much terrorism.  But we should focus on the perpetrators rather than the philosophy. All religious doctrine is benign until put into practice.

Christianity and the actions of some of its adherents has brought America’s majority religion into question. The disclosure of decades of child rape, sexual assault  and other molestations is  a sickening reminder  of religion’s virtual immunity from investigation and examination that it has enjoyed in our country and the world at large for centuries.

Having experienced much of what Mikey and Bonnie have experienced in terms of violent  retribution for daring to question the propriety of the doctrinal aspects of  Christianity I can assure you that Mikey’s backbone is in place and functioning. As to 9/11 and the perpetrators. They were 19 Saudi Muslims whose acts did not spur an investigation or even a reaction from our Saudi allies.   Instead we invaded Iraq which had nothing to do with the attack.

Not very smart.

The Oklahoma bombing was the act of Timothy McVeigh, a domestic Christian terrorist. Do you remember that day? (name withheld), there’s enough religious stupidity to go around.
I invite you to join us at our web site militrayreligiousfreedom.org for more information about MRFF and its goals. Reasonable people have determined ours to be a valid pursuit.
Thanks again for your note.
