Dear (name withheld),

What precisely would you do with the names of the christians that asked for the removal of the “bibke”?  Would you be as kind and respectful to them as you have been to us? Would you let the light of your God shine through you by blessing them with the same graphic insults you’ve sent our way?

I’m a bit weary of trying to reach out to people like yourself.  I sincerely try to open a thoughtful dialogue with most of our detractors.  Usually they respond with more hate.  With an escalation of incoherent rage. I’m willing to have conversations, but no more arguments. I’m at peace with myself. From the way you write, it seems that you don’t share in that experience with me.

If you love your god, and it’s the god of the bible, please do try better to show it in your actions and your words.

It would make the world a slightly better place.
