The US Constitution prohibits our government or its representatives (which includes the military) from promoting or endorsing a religion. The US Supreme Court has continuously & consistently confirmed this as the law of our land. US Armed Forces regulations prohibit the promotion or endorsement of a religion by the military. The military mission is to defend our nation against its enemies – not promote or endorse a religion. The military sworn service oath is to bear true faith & allegiance to the Constitution – not to a religion. Those who refuse to respect & obey the Constitution, military regulations & military service oath have the right to seek a civilian career.
 
Your filthy & foul-mouthed message reflects on no one but yourself. It has been my experience that a man who resorts to such nasty name-calling does so because he cannot address a subject with intelligence & integrity.

No one here is trying to destroy your religion “within the military” or outside of it. What we do is make

sure that everyone’s right to their own religious or non-religious choice is protected. It’s what the

Constitution says. One of the great tenets of our country is freedom to choose what you believe, and

that may be a religion or no religion at all. Everyone in this country has a right to a belief system and

no one can force his on the others.

You write like you’re blue in the face about someone taking away your religion. Not us. But the law

Greetings General Compere;

I wanted to apologize for the language I used yesterday in the various emails sent to you and this organization. I reread them this morning.
I’m retired AF  and flew combat rescue.. Im working through emotional processes..
I dont agree with your organization and its purpose / mission but we live in beautiful Country ( which we fought for to keep it that way)…
to allow us all ( within the law of the land) to do what we think is right.
Again my apology Sir to you and those within your organization.
