My daughter, (name withheld), is an ensign based in (naval training installation name withheld).   She has confided in me that she has taken quite a bit of grief about being Jewish, including having been given a  New Testament bible by one of her instructors.   In spite of her dedication to Judaism, she politely thanked the instructor.
They seem to have gone out of their way to limit the amount of time she can fly, and thus have kept her ratings as a pilot low.     Other instructors have noticed her treatment, but have been unable to improve the situation.

Is there anything, your MRFF organization can do.   We have nowhere else to turn. She has been reluctant to make waves being a new ensign.   She is scheduled to be promoted to Lt JG in May. Please help my daughter!

Have you contacted your state senators and representatives? What about the local and installation Rabbi’s? Suffering in silence won’t change anything and the military needs to know that we are watching!

If this sort of thing continues, you can also have your daughter contact the base Inspector General and file a formal complaint if the Chain of Command is doing nothing. If that action nets no results, contact the Air Force Inspector General. Sitting back and allowing this to go on will only cause the harassment to continue. Once the offenders understand that they aren’t breaking regulations with impunity, the harassment will stop.
