> I can see your worked up a bit and there’s nothing worse than getting worked up on false and misleading information.
>
> Mikey and MRFF stand against any form of religious extremism. Our mission is to ensure that every member of our armed forces receives the freedom of religion or freedom from religion that the U.S. Constitution guarantees.
> Currently, a growing sect of Christianity known as “Dominion Christianity” has infiltrated elements of our military and are exercising command centered and coercive Christian proselytizing. This is to expand and ultimately convert world populations to their form of bastardized Christianity. It is this group against which we are operating.
>
> If you are not familiar with the term “Dominion Christianity,” just Google it and “Christian Reconstructionism” for a chilling glimpse into the world of domestic religious extremism.
>
> MRFF is against no bona fide religion and only addresses the problems created by Dominion Christianity or other religious extremists. We are currently dealing with thousands of client case complaints from our young men and women in the armed forces who have found themselves in the grip of Dominionist officers who use their rank and position to direct subordinates to religious activities.

> As for Mikey being a traitor that assumption is callous and uninformed.

In addition Mikey’s family has served America in the armed forces for an astounding aggregate total of 150 years.

So sorry to hear you’re so enamored of the ‘Islamophobe’ clique that you’ve lost your sense of proportions and rationality. To be sure, most who would define themselves as “Jews” would not embrace your concept of the religion since the vast majority of Jews support the concept of the 1st Amendment because, historically, they have most benefited from its protections and they’re also wise enough to recognize that it also applies to their Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, & Christian neighbors.

Considering that the vast majority of those whom Mikey represents via MRFF are Christians of all denominations who are under attack by dominionist zealots who believe anyone who defends their rights under the 1st Amendment to be a ‘sniveling coward’ demonstrates that your connections with, and concern for reality are slim and tenuous at best. Otherwise, the briefest examination of the MRFF website would disabuse you of that delusion.

Further, considering the likes of Pamela Gellar, Brigitte Gabriel, Daniel Pipes, the ‘Davids’ (Horowitz & Yerushalmi) and a host of others who put demagoguery ahead of common sense and the national good, it would be redundant, not to mention disingenuous for Mikey to endorse a viewpoint embraced only by bigots and hate-mongers.

As far as being a ‘sniveling coward’, if you were to receive the volume of hate mail Mikey does, and yet continues to represent those oppressed by religious bigots, I suspect you’d have long ago found a cave in which your detractors could never find you and from which you would only venture out of on the darkest of nights.

Lastly, a ‘traitor’? …please!

I’m sorry but your regurgitated puddle has already occupied more of my time than it’s worth.

Dear (name withheld),

What you call bigotry is a forceful calling out of Christian Dominionists intent on using the military as their personal playground for proselytizing to an audience controlled by the UCMJ and Lawful Orders from their commanders. Your perception of hate is based on Mikey and MRFF’s conscious choice to use some of the same language Christian Dominionst consistently deploy against any who happen to disagree with them. Should fundamentalist of other religious faiths engage in the same type of activity, and using similar language, within the U.S. Military, MRFF response will be exactly the same.
(Please note: MRFF counts on its clients, supporters, volunteers, AND DETRACTORS as the indispensable “eyes and ears” who alert us to this unconstitutional religious proselytizing practice within the U.S. Military by Muslim/Jewish/Hindu/Buddhist/Christian/etc. Should you have such information regarding ‘radical Islam’, I hope you have the guts to submit for vetting and action).

I am a Christian (Episcopalian in fact) who fully supports Mikey’s and MRFF’s attempt to protect members of the U.S. Military from unconstitutional religious (including Islamic/Judaic/etc.) influence in relation to their training, assignment, advancement and retention. This includes all attempts at proselytizing any religious belief within the military structure. MRFF also fully supports the military chaplaincy role in its passive (i.e. without proselytization) ministrations to the religious needs of all U.S. Service Members.

Equating MRFF’s support of stopping all religious proselytization within a strictly government controlled environment as exists in the military with a hatred of Christianity is not only dishonest and disingenuous, some may even describe it as bearing false witness.

Sincerely,
Andy Kasehagen
