Thank you for fighting for the right thing here and for standing up to Secretary Hegseth. Even when he tried unsuccessfully to jack you all up. We loved Mr. Weinstein’s video reply to Secretary Hegseth and shared it on social media as much as we could. Hegseth tried to brand the MRFF as a radical “anti-Christian” and “pro-atheist” org. And here all of us are Christians thanking the MRFF! — USAF spouse, writing on behalf of five Christian families at Kirtland Air Force Base

I recently saw your short video reply to “Little Petey.”

It warmed my heart and flowed like poetry through my old, former Marine, brain. It was a thing of beauty. I do believe there is a piece of Marine rebar running up your ol’ Air Force spine, and I like it! — A former Marine

Shame on him. I’m glad I never served under him and shame on you MRFF for mocking Jesus again.

Depicting how Jesus would feel about trivializing religion is NOT “mocking” him.
Telling someone to obey the Constitution, the law, and USAF regulations is considered shameful only by theocratic assholes like you.

Old Soldier, I see you’ve failed to understand — AGAIN — what the US Constitution, DoD Instructions and Service Instructions require of us: that we remain NEUTRAL on matters of religion EXCEPT when attending or participating in specifically RELIGIOUS activities. And since you don’t seem to comprehend this relatively simple concept, let me spell it out:

GREETIN’ FOLKS AT THE GATE WHILE CHECKING’ IDs AIN’T THE RIGHT TIME TO TO SAY, “GOD BLESS YOU,” “GOD BE WITH YE,” OR ANY OTHER SUCH THING ! ! !

Oh, and by the way, this ain’t got NOTHIN’ TO DO with “Mocking Jesus”.

After reading the posts here and elsewhere, Old Soldier understands decency, respect for others, and freedom of religion, as well as the military regulations and constitutional provisions supporting them. His issue with Mikey and the MRFF appears to be that he clearly doesn’t believe in decency, respect for others, and freedom of religion.

Facts Matter, I’m not clear about your last sentence. You wrote, “His issue with Mikey and the MRFF appears to be that he clearly doesn’t believe in decency, respect for others, and freedom of religion.” Who is the “he” you’re referring to in the latter part of the sentence?

I’d very much appreciate it if you could clear that up for me.

“He” refers back to “his,” which refers to Old Soldier. I was making the point that Old Soldier’s disagreement with Mikey and the MRFF is not resulting from a lack of understanding of what the MRFF is trying to do. Old Soldier’s disagreement with the MRFF results from his disagreement with the values and laws supported by the organization – namely freedom of religion and equal rights and respect for the beliefs of everyone in our military services. I hope the above clarification is helpful in some way.

Facts Matter, thank you very much! I appreciate you taking time to clear that up for me. I thought it was likely the case, but I wanted to be sure.

    And I agree whole heartedly!
