Dear Mikey

Your organization is a collection of bigoted misfits that is more to be pitied than scorned.

Dear (name withheld),

I understand that with all the negative media attention we receive at MRFF one could easily come to the conclusion that we are a group of anti-Christian bigots. Nothing could be further from the truth!

96% of our clients are Christians who have come to us seeking help for religious injustice in the military. Many of them have been denied promotion, received adverse paperwork, watched as peers of theirs with substandard performance were promoted ahead of them, and all because they were the “wrong kind of Christian” or weren’t even a Christian at all.

I don’t know what you think about serving one’s nation but in this one when I swore the oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States I did not think that meant sacrificing my integrity to pretend to be Christian in order to advance throughout the ranks. That runs anathema to the Establishment Clause of the Constitution as well as the “No Religious Test” clause. That is why when I became a client of MRFF’s and had Mikey fight to defend me I became a lifelong supporter and ally. He is holding the US military and all these theocrats that want to turn it into “god’s army” under the jurisdiction of the mandates held in the Constitution.

If you are referencing that scripture taken down from the Academy then Mikey and MRFF are again in the right. This was not a whiteboard in someone’s room nor some personal space. This was written by a cadet in a public hallway outside where their name placard was located. This cadet held a position of authority over other cadets and it could have been perceived as command endorsement of a specific religious preference – a violation of the Establishment Clause and the Air Force regulations. The cadet understood that and voluntarily took it down. Kudos to that cadet for correcting his/her mistake.

What happens if that cadet had refused? What happens if that cadet begins to understand that he/she can withhold proper advancement for his/her subordinates advancement based on their religiosity.

It starts with small increments but this Dominionist threat of these extreme Christians try and use a perceived persecution in the media to incite the masses. All we are doing is holding them to the same standards the rest of the religions in the military already adhere to.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach of to me.

Very Respectfully,
Paul Loebe
