American Family Association continues anti-MRFF campaign

This week, AFA received a letter from attorneys representing atheist Mikey Weinstein and his Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF). The letter demands that AFA remove MRFF from the AFA Anti-Christian Bigotry map.

He says it is because he and his group are not anti-Christian.

Way to go AFA! What are you going to do now Mikey, jump up and down in a tantrum because they did not respond to your bully tactics? Time to pull up those big boy panties you wear and get over it or take a Prozac! I hear Lethium now comes in vanilla flavor so you might try that also.

What I don’t understand is why can’t we all just love one another ? Or if we can’t love one another then don’t have anything to do with one another. Whatever happened to “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all” ? The more name-calling that goes on, the worse it gets.
Christians: be the bigger man, turn the other cheek, and love your “enemies” like Jesus taught you (because really, they’re not your enemies).
Other faiths: I’m pretty sure you preach more or less the same thing.
Atheists, non-religious, even those who hate religion: be the bigger man, if you think the religious are wrong, then just laugh and walk away.
Why are all of you trying to pick a fight ? (You’re the minority, by the way — the rest of us, religious and non, are already busy loving one another.) There’s a) too much fighting going on in the world elsewhere and b) way more important things for us to worry about than whether our neighbor is of the same religious opinion.

Good thoughts, Love All. We all want to hope that we are all busy loving one another, but it appears that with anonymous internet postings and the election of our current president that hatred is hitting new heights (all extremely well documented). The trouble with laughing and walking away is that real people are getting hurt and careers destroyed by extremist views. When is the last time you’ve seen a moderate Republican or Democrat in Congress? They’ve essentially all been run out of town, so there is much less space for people to come together and discuss the real problems facing our country. It’s easier to cut someone off at the knees for having a different opinion and there’s always someone ready to pile on to make sure that the world knows that the person I disagree with is the worst person in the world.
I’m hoping (and working) for better, but I won’t be holding my breath.

Christians are some of the whiniest crybabys ever. Regardless of the weightiest evidence they are bent on playing the victim. Yet are unfortunately the majority in the US. I’m glad the tide is turning albiet slowly. Keep it up Mikey!
