LT Gen Boykin should have been allowed to speak at the prayer breakfast.

Why are you imposing your Judaism on Christians?

Would you have been as aggressive to complain if the speaker was an extremist Hasidic Jewish Rabbi or even a radical Muslim Imam. My guess is that you would not have been aggressive and complained otherwise you would have been labeled Anti Semitic or Islamophobic.

Thank and Bless Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior for teaching us to turn the other cheek!

Your actions are PATHETIC !! Jesus Christ will be your judge, of that I’m sure. Remember your history ? You, of all religious beliefs, should remember the historical persecution of a religious people, so why do you emulate those that came before you ?? Nice memory there buddy….

I have talked to several people about this today. Some have been very professional and honestly willing to engage in the discussion. Others, not so much. This is the kind of situation Mikey uses to pocket nearly half of all contribution made here. Yep, he takes nearly half of all contributions to his own bank account. Sick this guy is.

    My opinion is as follows:

Lieutenant General William Boykin would not have been invited to speak at a spaghetti dinner to raise awareness of vaginal warts. In this case the invitation to speak was sent out by an individual that DID NOT go through proper command protocol.

I suspect the individual knowingly did so with the intent to stir up controversy.

Lieutenant General William Boykin has made many public statements while in uniform that are not consistent with Army policy. Most, even the majority of those, were political in nature and not based on religion.

Furthermore, while not in uniform but representing himself as an officer in the Army he has made public statements that are not consistent with Army policy.

MFFRF did contact the command. The command had already made a decision to move the date of the event completely unrelated to that contact.

The command would not have approved this individual as a speaker at any function.

As usual, little Mikey has used this event to claim some victory where there is none. Several Christian Religious organizations have taken it upon themselves to become outraged where there is no religious basis to do so.

Mikey stirs up controversy as a means of having a fund raiser in my opinion. Neither he nor the MFFRF represent the views of any Atheist or person of faith I know. Not one.

I will say that the several members of the command I spoke to were professional and more than willing to engage in the conversation. I admire and respect them for it.

I can not confirm or deny if my statement as follows is supported by most all of the command, particularly on a personal level (I have my suspicions though:

Fuck Mikey Weinstein, he is little more than a con man that uses manufactured controversy for profit and gain, in my humble opinion of course.

“Thank and Bless Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior for teaching us to turn the other cheek!”

Yeah right. Tell that to the people especially kids who were not allowed to defend themselves physically from all the violent treatment that they got from their so-called Christian parents because they were taught to honor thy mother and father and die because of that stupid commandment and the authorities (many of them who were Christians) did not do a thing to stop it.

Yeah, George Carlin stated that religion is the biggest con job while the second biggest con job is being a business person.

“I have talked to several people about this today. Some have been very professional and honestly willing to engage in the discussion. Others, not so much.”

And then your last comment begins with “F*ck Mikey Weinstein….”
Very professional! That’s the kind of comment that really makes intelligent people engage in discussion with you….

“The Military Religious Freedom Foundation is the sole nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to ensuring that all members of the United States Armed Forces fully receive the Constitutional guarantee of both freedom of religion and freedom from religion, to which they and all Americans are entitled. Fighting for our servicemembers’ rights, so they can fight for ours.”
If you make any other claims about MRFF or about Mr. Weinstein, then you are a liar, a slanderer, a hateful person, and there is no discussion. Is this what your “religion” is founded upon? Is this how you honor your god, your christ? How about your earthly parents? Are they proud of this behavior from you? Why do you find it necessary to lie? Does the truth not support your hatred, your biases, your ugliness? The truth is the same, no matter who or what you claim to be. If the truth is incompatible with your thoughts and beliefs, then it is not the truth that needs to change….

Dave Hardin is obviously a jerk pretending to be a xtian.

Paula is obviously a thinking person with a conscience.

Which one would y’all prefer to be in the proverbial foxhole with? The one who doesn’t have the conscience –and lacks the good sense of—a centipede or the one who will watch your back?

    Thank you, Paula.
