Dear (name withheld),

The MRFF represents over 49,000 loyal & patriotic American military, veteran & civilian clients who have requested that their constitutional right to freedom from government imposed religion be respected & protected. We proudly support & assist them to protect that historic American liberty of separation of church & state.

Attached you will find a rational explanation in plain language of the factual, historical & lawful relationship between our Constitution, any religion & the military. We hope you find it informative.

Ironically, the most hate-filled opposition to our representation of fellow Americans, 96% of whom are Christians, comes from radicalized fundamentalist Christians who resort to filthy name-calling because they cannot address adult issues with intelligence or integrity.

Welcome back! (name withheld),

I see you learned nothing from my earlier response to you. You didn’t read it, didn’t understand it or chose to ignore the laws I laid out.

Here it is to refresh your memory.

https://www.militaryreligiousfreedom.org/2016/09/west-point/

Did you read this link of your earlier writing I gave you above? It’s self-evident that what Steed did was wrong.

I see your feelings are hurt because of the outcome with the Air Force but they realized Steed had overstepped the bounds of our laws and took down everything.

I really do love warm cupcakes especially chocolate ones with fudge frosting melting on top. But, I think I love warm brownies with gooey fudge frosting melting on top better.

Off to make some brownies and while eating them warm I will think of you. I may have to put some whipped cream or vanilla ice cream on top to make it more delicious.

Oh, yummy! It takes only 20 minutes to bake and I need to satiate my sweet cravings now that you mentioned it.

Thanks for stopping by again with your 3 letter acronyms which mean nothing to us and have no effect.

No, (name withheld), I’m still around. I figure it’s important to stay awake for a while just to step in when the

dimwits, bigots, xenophobes and know-nothings begin to beat their chests again and bleat out their frustrations about how unfair it is that the world has left them behind.

Just try not to hurt yourself, OK? When the going gets tough and you come face to face with the meaninglessness of your sad little life and understand how pitiful you sound, just know there are some out here who know you for what you are but still have hope.

Yes all of America does support Coach Steed and he will continue to tweet out his bible verses on his personal Twitter account with his picture of him as receivers coach for the AFA on his Twitter profile. I think he may even tweet a bible verse or two to Mikey and Mikey won’t be able to do a thing about it!!!

Joan, just be sure that you don’t choke on one of those brownies, hate to have you die and your are not saved at all.

  2. Connie December 13, 2016 at 4:45 pm

For the record AP the pig, you do not represent all of the United States.

As for your filthy comments on the site today I am reminded of a Jesus story. The literal quote I have in mind is this: ‘The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Mathew 25:40

As you state many times if a person doesn’t believe exactly as you do they are going to hell. As those condemned to hell are considered ‘less than’ by you I believe you, AP the pig, told Joan aka your Lord and Savior to choke on a brownie. Such a holy man you are!!(sarcasm font)

It takes no effort to be kind. You should try it pig.

  3. G December 13, 2016 at 5:47 pm

Well done, Connie with regards to Mathew 25:40.

  4. American Patriot December 13, 2016 at 9:19 pm

    Connie,
Maybe you should read a little more closely, I did not say I hope that Joan would choke on a brownie, I said that I sure hope she does not choke on a brownie.

Regarding Matthew 25:40, the passage is referring to Jesus’ fellow Jews.

  5. G December 13, 2016 at 9:55 pm

Connie knows more about the Bible than you AP.

You indirectly hope that Joan does choke on that brownie, AP

  6. Connie December 14, 2016 at 3:53 am

Thank you for your comment G.

AP the pig, just like a Dominionist to believe no conflict exists in applying biblical law literally (club member only) when applied to themselves and metaphorically for everyone else.

That’s called priveledge. Learn to share or lose it all.

You think I’m going to take something from you if we are equal in the law here on Earth? What? The only power I have to ruin your life is the power you give me. No, Life will put you through the grist mill at some point. If not you, then a member of your family. Their eyes will be opened.

That is the day everything changes; when where you thought you were going and reality are suddenly light years apart.

I won’t take anything from you pig. You will do it to yourself.

I will laugh a little. Trying to be kind so a little.

  7. American Patriot December 14, 2016 at 9:04 pm

    Connie,
There is nothing that you can take away from me. Scripture says that every follower of Christ is “seated with Christ in heavenly places.” Plus, every follower of Christ has been given a deposit inside us with the Holy Spirit, which makes us more wealthy than all the wealthiest people in the world put together.

  8. G December 14, 2016 at 11:34 pm

“Plus, every follower of Christ has been given a deposit inside us with the Holy Spirit, which makes us more wealthy than all the wealthiest people in the world put together.”

Well, the Holy Spirit doesn’t pay our bill, put food in our stomachs, clothes on our backs, and a roof over our heads, and that is a fact.

  9. American Patriot December 15, 2016 at 5:58 am

Maybe not here but it is an eternal inheritance we look forward to, but it sure helps that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead and took part in creation resides in every believer!

God requires us to pay our bills, put food in our stomachs, clothes on our back etc. One of the curses of the fall of Adam and Eve is that man would have to work for his food, etc.

G, God is not some celestial bellboy that comes every time we ring a bell for His service.

  10. G December 15, 2016 at 7:59 am

“God requires us to pay our bills, put food in our stomachs, clothes on our back etc. One of the curses of the fall of Adam and Eve is that man would have to work for his food, etc.

G, God is not some celestial bellboy that comes every time we ring a bell for His service.”

Well, then we should not give up our hard earn money to God’s Church since God doesn’t need it. How many curses did God put on Adam and Eve?

“Maybe not here but it is an eternal inheritance we look forward to, but it sure helps that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead and took part in creation resides in every believer!”

That paragraph does not mean a thing to 50% of the world’s population trying to live on anywhere from $2 to $10 per day and it doesn’t mean a thing to 50% of Americans who live near or at the poverty line. You need to get a reality check.

  11. American Patriot December 15, 2016 at 8:58 am

Since you asked G, there were several curses upon Adam & Eve and for all mankind as well as on the snake, noted here:

    Genesis 3:14-19 (ESV)

14 The Lord God said to the serpent,

    “Because you have done this,
cursed are you above all livestock
    and above all beasts of the field;
on your belly you shall go,
    and dust you shall eat
all the days of your life.
15 I will put enmity between you and the woman,
    and between your offspring[a] and her offspring;
    he shall bruise your head,
and you shall bruise his heel.”
16 To the woman he said,

    “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing;
in pain you shall bring forth children.
Your desire shall be contrary to[b] your husband,
but he shall rule over you.”
17 And to Adam he said,

“Because you have listened to the voice of your wife
and have eaten of the tree
    of which I commanded you,
‘You shall not eat of it,’
    cursed is the ground because of you;
    in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
    18 thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you;
and you shall eat the plants of the field.
19 By the sweat of your face
    you shall eat bread,
till you return to the ground,
    for out of it you were taken;
    for you are dust,
and to dust you shall return.”

  12. Connie December 15, 2016 at 9:02 am

My grandmother believed filling the belly is the primary goal. To her it made no sense to save the soul only to lose the body.

AP the pig touts a party line where all the material wealth belongs to the priest class and governors. The rest of the population is supposed to be content with our reward after we are dead.

How does that help me in the here/now exactly? (That’s called a rhetorical question).

Here’s a thought – let’s focus on feeding everyone now and leave the hereafter to the hereafter.

  13. American Patriot December 15, 2016 at 2:34 pm

Well Connie, your grandmother was wrong sad to say, the body you leave behind after you die, it is your soul that lives on after death. If you want to leave the hereafter to later, there are no second chances after you die. Scripture says that “is appointed for man to die once, then comes the judgment.” No second chances, no reincarnation. Now if you want to gamble your eternal destiny on taking care of your body and not your soul, well tell me how that works out for you.

For those who did not accept Christ before they died, there is no reward for them, except for eternal punishment, but for the believer, we are living now serving Christ so that we will be rewarded in heaven for our faithfulness to Christ while on earth.

No not all the material wealth belongs to the governors and priest class, and by priests I am not sure if you are meaning pastors. The average size of the American church today is only about 75 people, and no pastor is going to get rich, in fact many pastors have to work a full time job besides being the pastor of their church. There are millions of Christians today who are just middle class, to live pay check to pay check, struggling just to pay their bills and feed their families, but God is faithful to provide for our needs, not our wants. Some of the most joyous Christians I have met were those in the inner city of Providence, Rhode Island one summer, they did drive no fancy cars or have fancy homes, but oh did they have the joy of the Lord and they were content with that, for they knew there reward is not here on earth but in eternity one day.

  14. G December 15, 2016 at 5:51 pm

Well, AP, all these curses prove that God is punishing people with curses for what Adam and Eve had done is kind of like the police and the district attorneys blaming the victims for cause the crime.

Here’s a thought – everyone gets a decent standard of living where they can enjoy life instead of enjoying life when they died and go to heaven.

“G, God is not some celestial bellboy that comes every time we ring a bell for His service.”

Well AP, then I guess you need to asks a couple of questions about God’s service especially if you pray to him:

    1) If what God gives us after a prayer is always going to be what God wants to give rather than what we ask for, why bother to pray for anything specific?

    2) If one believes that God controls everything and God has a plan for each and every one of us, then why pray since such a thing would require God to change his plan or change his mind, in which case either one of them undermine his infallibility or omniscience?

“…it is your soul that lives on after death.

You have any solid evidence that humans have a soul and that it does live on after death? Second chances? Well, I thought it was up to god to see whether you get that second chance or not?

“For those who did not accept Christ before they died, there is no reward for them, except for eternal punishment, but for the believer, we are living now serving Christ so that we will be rewarded in heaven for our faithfulness to Christ while on earth.”

What about the millions of Muslims, Jews, Hindu, Buddhists, Confusionists, Sikhs, etc., who have different gods or who have no gods. How can they be condemned if they have different religious beliefs? BTW, explain why we have so many Christian denominations if Christianity is supposed to be one homogenous religion?

” but God is faithful to provide for our needs, not our wants. Some of the most joyous Christians I have met were those in the inner city of Providence, Rhode Island one summer, they did drive no fancy cars or have fancy homes, but oh did they have the joy of the Lord and they were content with that, for they knew there reward is not here on earth but in eternity one day.”

Well, that is no help to all those dead artists who died in the Oakland fire who died because they had to live in that crappy place because that city government along with all the other city governments have done nothing to ensure that people of all occupations can live decently. Try making that kind of statement to the families of the dead artists and see what kind of reaction you will get.

  15. Connie December 16, 2016 at 4:45 am

Ahhh pig, disagreeing with grandmother wasn’t healthy, especially if the only argument a person had to offer was as weak as your explanation to me.

Do you tell others that load of horse poop? It could be why so many people are leaving the church.

G – the concept you describe is called Basic Income. Every citizens basic needs – food, clothing, shelter, and medical care – are covered by a stipend issued from the government. Testing the effectiveness of the program has been going on for several years. So far it seems to work.

Pig – God provides nothing. Perhaps he allows a person to see an opportunity but flat out giving? Nope. God doesn’t plow the fields. God doesn’t go to work every day. Perhaps a person carries God with them in their heart to motivate themselves. But doing the work himself? No, that is human power.

And pig – if you believe I don’t know the difference between want and need – what am I saying? Of course you believe I’m uneducated because I refuse to listen to you and I’m a girl to boot. What would I know?

Ha pig. Discarding the crap you and those like you have spewed for the last thousand years makes me and the millions fleeing dominionism smarter than you.

  16. American Patriot December 16, 2016 at 10:59 am

    Connie,
The Word of God is not horse poop! God is our provider of everything, air, water, food.

  17. G December 16, 2016 at 9:59 pm

“The Word of God is not horse poop! God is our provider of everything, air, water, food.”

Wrong AP, we have to provide our own food since God put a curse on the human race and as Connie has stated we do the work everyday not God.

  18. G December 17, 2016 at 3:07 pm

‘The Word of God is not horse poop! God is our provider of everything, air, water, food.”

Well, the wealthy people and the corporations don’t care about air, water, and food except to pollute it and/or profit off of it. The word God doesn’t exists in their vocabulary. If God really exists, he should be punishing those who are destroying his creation; otherwise, why did he bother to create earth and the human race?

  19. Connie December 18, 2016 at 12:58 pm

I choose my words carefully this day as I wish to be crystal clear.

As a child I learned of Jesus and God at a local United Church of Christ church. The words I learned through class and sermon. The meaning of being a follower of Christ I learned through the congregation and the local community. Love is the word and The Word is Good.

I apologize to them for calling AP’s beleif horse poop. You taught me better. I will do better next time.

I do not apologize to the pig, and here is why.

American Patriot aka Deplorale Patriot aka the pig takes what I consider to be words of Love and uses them as a weapon against all who match the hate of the day.

When the pig has no answer for the many questions raised due to inconsistent details in their narrative the pig throws scripture as if it excuses their behavior and denounces whomever has earned their ire.

That behavior is horse poop. So is refusing to learn how to share with people who are different. And using violence always, never looking to the future with the world we leave our children.

All the Religions I’ve studied point to the same idea – There are as many ways to The Light as there are souls in the Universe; but there is One Way.

The pig tells me their way is the way for everyone. The pig tells me, without knowing me, that they have all the answers for me.

    I’ve been told that before.

The pig will believe this is about them. :) They are, after all, a pig.

  20. American Patriot December 20, 2016 at 9:05 pm

“All the Religions I’ve studied point to the same idea – There are as many ways to The Light as there are souls in the Universe; but there is One Way.”

    Connie,
The problem here Connie is that no religion can get you to heaven, only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ will get you to heaven. Jesus Himself said that “I am the way, the truth and the life, NO man comes to the Father(God) but through Me(Jesus).Jesus also that narrow is the way that leads to life(heaven), but broad is the road that leads to destruction(hell). Jesus was saying that very few will get into heaven only through Him, but many will reject his offer of salvation.

Keeping all 613 commandments in the Old Testament will not get you into heaven, praying the rosary or worshiping Mary will not get you into heaven, doing good works like the Mormons will not get you into heaven, worshiping a golden statue of Buddha will not get you into heaven, living a moral life will not get you into heaven, Jesus said the only way is through accepting His shed blood on the cross. No, I do not have all the answer, but I now the One who does and all the answers are found in His Word, the Bible.

  21. Connie December 20, 2016 at 9:29 pm

    Everlasting life
In the same space as the pig
    No thanks. I will pass.

  22. G December 20, 2016 at 11:01 pm

“Jsus Himself said that “I am the way, the truth and the life, NO man comes to the Father(God) but through Me(Jesus).Jesus also that narrow is the way that leads to life(heaven), but broad is the road that leads to destruction(hell). Jesus was saying that very few will get into heaven only through Him, but many will reject his offer of salvation.”

Then what do we need priests, nuns, cardinals, bishops, archbishops and even the pope to confess our sins, receive sacraments, marriages, divorces, etc?

“Keeping all 613 commandments in the Old Testament will not get you into heaven, praying the rosary or worshiping Mary will not get you into heaven, doing good works like the Mormons will not get you into heaven, worshiping a golden statue of Buddha will not get you into heaven, living a moral life will not get you into heaven, Jesus said the only way is through accepting His shed blood on the cross. No, I do not have all the answer, but I now the One who does and all the answers are found in His Word, the Bible”

Funny, most of us were only told of the 10 Commandments. Explain AP, why we weren’t taught the other 603 Commandments? What is the point of doing all these other stuff if it doesn’t mean a thing? If the answers are found in the Bible, then why are you mocking the commandments if they are suppose to teach us how to live a good life?

  23. American Patriot December 21, 2016 at 6:18 pm

    Everlasting life
In the same space as the pig
    No thanks. I will pass.

Oh Connie it would not be that bad, besides in eternal life we are all perfect, there will be perfect peace between everyone. Worshiping God for all eternity!

  24. Connie December 21, 2016 at 10:15 pm

    Pig ignores questions
    Touts personal belief to
    Support One Faith lie

  25. American Patriot December 22, 2016 at 11:27 am

So Connie you are now calling Jesus a liar? Jesus said there is only one faith that will get you to heaven, faith in Him and his completed work on the cross! The bible and all the words in the bible are the only inerrant words of almighty God. All other religious texts are fake theology and lies from the pit of hell!

  26. Connie December 22, 2016 at 5:37 pm

“… (In my opinion)… The bible and all the words in the bible are the only inerrant words of almighty God. All other religious texts are fake theology and lies from the pit of hell!”

    Fixed it for you pig.

Am I calling Jesus a liar? No pig, I’m calling you one.

  27. American Patriot December 22, 2016 at 10:09 pm

    Connie,
No that is not my opinion, even the bible itself says that all the words are inerrant.
How can I be a liar when I am only repeating what Jesus said??

  28. Connie December 22, 2016 at 10:51 pm

Pig, are you flesh and blood? Do you think for yourself or are you programmed? See, I wonder if the pig is a bot playing human because it seems as if the pig really believes many of us, by our very existence, threatens their way of life. Will you not get into heaven because I remain an unrepentant Quantum Activist (among other beliefs)?

The pigs’ one size fits all outlook has been tried. History is filled with examples and the ONLY people having a good time were those in charge. The rest of us thought those times sucked which is why we are here/now.

If We the People treated those who oppressed equally hard as the oppressors treated The People… Well, it is good We the People are enlightened. It is Good We remember Evil sows the seeds of it’s own destruction. We know Evil never serves it’s own purpose. We are patient. We are seeds.

Pig if you open your eyes you will see Nature is filled with examples of Her Diversity. We are not all oak trees. There are many types of flowers. Why should humans all look the same? Our feet are different sizes for Pete’s sake.

I’ve read the texts of Jesus. You, pig, get so lost in the words and dogma you lose His Message.

There is a reason church’s are shrinking. It’s looking at you in the mirror.

  29. Connie December 22, 2016 at 10:54 pm

Argh. It’s churches not church’s. Mea culpa.

  30. American Patriot December 23, 2016 at 9:46 am

Yes there is diversity in nature, just as God had planned, but nature has no soul that lives on in eternity. However, one timeless truth out of the mouth of Jesus which cannot be misinterpreted is that only He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no man comes to God but through Him, that is final! Yes Connie, you will die in your sins for being an unrepentant Quantum Activist, Jesus’ words not mine. One day you will stand before Jesus for judgment and you can try to argue your view now, but He will say to you, depart from me for I never knew! You will join your dead departed Marine husband in hell not in Valhalla, unless he repented and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior before he died.

It is only the mainline churches that are shrinking Connie, the fastest growing churches today here in the United States and around the world is the Pentecostal/Charismatic churches for they are not afraid to let the Holy Spirit move as He wishes, whereas the mainline churches are dying because the Spirit has left those churches for they have welcomed and tolerated the sins of the world into their churches.

  31. Connie December 23, 2016 at 6:06 pm

    No questions answered
Just ‘You are going to Hell!’
    Nothing here, move on

  32. American Patriot December 24, 2016 at 9:24 am

    Well Connie and G,
Wishing both of you a very Merry Christmas, for this is what Christmas is all about, the Son of God being born so that He can die for the sins of the world (yours and mine) to secure a place in eternity with Him if we will only accept His free gift!

    Isaiah 9:6 (ESV)

6 For to us a child is born,
    to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

  33. G December 25, 2016 at 10:36 am

AP, the main churches are not dying because the Holy Spirit left them. They are dying because they refuse to go with the changing times and because people are finally finding out having religion doesn’t protect you from economic insecurity. Don’t be surprise when the Pentecostal/Charismatic churches are dying because people don’t believe in God and they will have their own scandals. BTW, the church leaders cause their own sins in their own organizations.

Christ died for nothing so it was all for nothing.

  34. G December 25, 2016 at 10:40 am

As usual AP, you don’t have any answer as to why the church authorities do not teach us the other 603 commandments.

If Jesus stated there is only one true faith, then why did God establish Judaism instead of Christainity? Why does he tolerate other religions and other beliefs that have no gods.

  35. American Patriot December 25, 2016 at 2:54 pm

    G,
The mainline churches (Presbyterian, Lutheran, Methodist) are dying because the Spirit has left them because they have embraced the sins of the world(abortion, homosexuality, no virgin birth, the bible is not inerrant), and because of that, they are dying, because the Spirit cannot bless or reside where there is rebellion to God and His Word. The Spirit-filled churches will continue to grow and to thrive because they have embraced God and the truth of His Word.

Evangelical Christians are not looking to religion to provide them economic security. There are many Evangelical Christians like me who live pay check to pay check, have financial issues, some because they have gotten themselves into debt financially, some have decided that that the wife will stay at home and raise the kids, etc. We know that our jobs are not our provision, God is our provider and has promised that He will always meet our needs, but not our wants.

God established Judaism and not Christianity, Christianity came out of Judaism. Baptism is a Jewish thing not Christian, Communion came out of the Sedar meal and the Last Supper. The roots of Christianity are found in Judaism. Many Christians are discovering their Jewish roots and are observing the Jewish feasts today and the Saturday Sabbath, etc.

The possible reasons you did not learn about the other 603 commandments is because your leaders did not think they were as important as the ten commandments and many churches today do not really teach out of the Old Testament.

“Christ died for nothing so it was all for nothing” – Well G if this is how you feel, then scripture says that there is no hope for you at all and you will die and go into a Christ-less eternity. You are one man who is most to be pitied.

  36. American Patriot December 25, 2016 at 3:23 pm

    G,
I recently found this – “The first Christians were Jews, and Christianity has its roots in the religion of God’s chosen and called out people. Jesus’s death and resurrection was not the beginning of a new religion but the fulfillment of the covenant God made with his people.”

  37. G December 26, 2016 at 10:46 am

Where is your proof that the mainline churches are dying because of sin. You are all mouth and no facts.

God is your provider? Well, he is doing a very poor job and how do you know that all Evangelical Christians are not looking for economic security? My point is that religion does not provide the basic necessities of life and many religious leaders don’t want to help their followers have a decent economic life.

You are the one that is most potful with your lack of tolerance for other people.

  38. American Patriot December 26, 2016 at 11:09 am

Okay, G, you want proof, here it is:
    http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2015/05/18/mainline-protestants-make-up-shrinking-number-of-u-s-adults/
    http://www.conservapedia.com/Growth_of_evangelical_Christianity

Of course all Evangelical Christians want some kind of economic security, but God does not make money trees grow in our backyards, we are required to seek jobs to have and work at, and God helps us and provides jobs for us to have.

Since when does religion have to provide the basic necessities of life? Where do you find that in the Constitution? When is it the religious leaders responsibility to help their followers have a decent economic life?? Their responsibility is to shepherd the flock of God and provide spiritual input and counseling! Many pastors have to work two jobs to provide for their families.

  39. G December 26, 2016 at 5:19 pm

God has not help us provide with jobs considering all the good paying manufacturing jobs that were send overseas and the remaining jobs are do not pay well at all. God also has not done a thing in helping the 50% of the world population not living on $2 to $10 per days.

Well, many church leaders seem to live beyond the basic necessitates of life so if they can live a good life then they should help us as well; otherwise, they should be taking a vow of poverty. And Tom as pointed out in prior threads that it says so in the US Constitution about helping to promote the pursuit of liberty and happiness which means that the government needs to ensure that people have good education, good paying jobs, and a decent standard of living. Spiritual input and counseling doesn’t mean a thing when you are under economic stress about whether you are going to keep your job.

  40. G December 26, 2016 at 7:16 pm

If religious leaders can’t or won’t lead the fight the improve the lives of their flocks, then they should not expect people let alone demand that they give money to the church since without money, churches can’t do all those things that they are suppose to do in the name of God.

If you think that the world doesn’t owe anyone a living, then what is the point of bringing in people unto this world. As I have stated before, none of us asks our parents let alone God to bring us into this world.

  41. American Patriot December 27, 2016 at 9:21 am

Why is it God’s responsibility to help those who are making $2.00 to $10 per day or hour as you say? You seem to keep putting all the blame on God when you will not take any responsibility yourself to help those people! That is the usual ideology of the millienlials today, I am entitled to this or that or I deserve this or that and it is always someone elses fault not mine. God has gifted everyone with certain talents and abilities that we are responsible to use to help ourselves an others.

I did some research G and found out that the average salary of a pastor, excluding Catholic priests is around $90,000 per year! Remember that is only the average, but then the average size of the American church today is only around 75 people, so 75 people cannot give their pastor $90,000, so many pastors have to work two jobs just to survive as well as their wives working as well. Megachurches are actually the exception and not the rule. Now before you complain that the average salary of a pastor is $90,000, just remember that Mikey makes two and a half times that amount as the head of a non-profit organization.

Once again G, pastors are to feed their flock, not provide for the economic prosperity of everyone their members. Pastors lose their jobs too G. Pastors can be fired like everyone else in their churches. Do you even realize that many pastors are leaving the ministry every year because of the stress of their position and because their people constantly criticize them? Being a pastor is not a easy job to have!! I have seen pastors crucified by their congregations and forced out, including myself have experienced that.

When people give money to the church, only a certain portion goes for the pastors salary, the rest goes to making payments on the church building, paying for the A/C, heating, electricity, general up keep of the building. Taking a vow of poverty is only a Catholic thing, in fact, scripture says that the laborer is worthy of his hire relating to those who lead the church. Personally, I feel the pastors salary should be the average of what all the men in the church make!

You may have not asked your parents to bring you into the world, but they wanted a child to love and care for, and God ordained for you to be born.

  42. Connie December 27, 2016 at 11:29 am

Excuse me G and AP the pig – I have a logic issue that needs clarification.

The pig says all things come from God but then writes a rant of how entitled people are when all things are not provided. This is dividing by zero pig. It does not compute.

Which is it pig? If, as you’ve told me many times, all things are provided by God why are there still people who need the basics?

I know my answer – just checking to see if pig has any idea of how to escape the corner they painted themselves.

  43. G December 27, 2016 at 5:45 pm

AP, I do not see those wealthy people the so called job creators not creating good paying jobs for people and they tried to avoid any kind of responsibility for it. In addition, AP you have corporate and wealthy people crying all that time that they are being taxed to death and feel that they are entitled to government services without paying any kind of taxes and they have been doing it for the last 36 years and that it their usual ideology since the end of the American Civil War. They are also are blaming someone else for their economic malfeasance and that is a fact plus they are using their skills to help themselves only and don’t care about others.

Being a pastor is not easy? Tell that to a police officer and to a teacher and see what kind of reaction you will get from them. Pastors loses their jobs? So what? Many of them in the Catholic church were protected by the higher ups and were moved around the world even though their sexual actions were well known and many of them were move up into the higher church ranks just like bad managers/CEOs.

God ordained me to come into this world? Yeah, doesn’t explain why many babies die at immediately when they are born or dies minutes, hours, days, weeks, or months later.

Pastors feed their flock? Well, they couldn’t do that during the Great Depression of 1929 and 2008 because the amount of economic aid that the American people needed overwhelmed in 1929 and 2008 and the Republican Party stated that when economic bad times happen, leave it to religious organizations to take care of the people and let the free market sort out the economic mess. Well, it didn’t work out that way not did it. Corporations and wealthy people continue to do their own bad corrupted ways while expecting government and the public to take the economic hits.

Great answers and questions as usual Connie and as usual AP will not have a logical, rational answer to your questions.

  44. American Patriot December 27, 2016 at 7:01 pm

    G,
When I said that pastors feed their flock, I meant it is the pastors job to spiritually feed their flock, to pray for and with them, counsel them.

Yes, many Catholic priests who molested kids were moved around to different churches, evangelical pastors who are fired from their position cannot move around, they have to send out resumes to churches who are looking to hire a pastor, then they have to meet with their search committee, then preach before the congregation and then the congregation has to vote on whether to accept them as their new pastor.

  45. G December 28, 2016 at 9:29 am

AP, pastors spiritually feeding their flocks does not translate into putting food into people’s bellies, putting clothes on their backs, a roof over their heads, etc. And you have no logical, rational answer to Connie’s questions about God providing things to the the people particularly the basic necessities. If he did provided those things, then why should we be working to provided those things ourselves. You quote scriptures from the Bible about God putting curses on us where we have to work and earn our bread; yet, you are stating that we do not have to worry about getting those things because they will be provided by God.

  46. American Patriot December 28, 2016 at 11:58 am

    G,

God provides for His children and those who obey Him. You and Connie neither obey Him or believe in Him, so why should He provide for you?

No where in the either the Constitution or the bible does it say that a pastor is to provide for the physical needs of his flock. Now, some churches do have a benevolence fund where they can based upon need, help out people in their church from time to time.

  47. Connie December 28, 2016 at 1:38 pm

Who said I was taking about myself pig?

You make me laugh and shake my head in wonder how you are still breathing pig. Your hypocrisy, your ‘Christmas’ greeting posted on the first day of Hanukkah, and now this idea that God provides for all things unless you don’t hold a membership card. Didn’t know God was like Sam’s Club. Good to know.

The logic issue still exists pig. The only thing you confirmed is your hypocrisy and lack of morals. I know you believe you hold the high ground. To bad you took a stand on a sand bubble.

  48. American Patriot December 28, 2016 at 2:18 pm

    Connie,
I do hold the moral high ground(scripturally) compared to liberals, let’s see, homosexuality, gay marriage, abortion, transgenderism, all are an abomination to God, and for good measure let’s throw in the Muslims as well here – beastiality and pedophilia.

Connie, the first day of Hanukkah was also Christmas Eve. Even Christ celebrated Hanukkah and made reference to it when He said “I am the light of the world.”

Christ said that you are either for me or against me, and scripture also points out that before someone accepts Christ, they are considered the enemy of God. “For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.” – Romans 5:10

“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,” – John 1:12

  49. Connie December 28, 2016 at 2:48 pm

Wow! So many words and not one answer to my questions. Here is another couple of questions for you.

So where did God say abortion was an abomination again? I must have missed that specific verse. And no – thou shall not commit murder was not about abortion. How do I know? I’ve read the bloody book. Debate me coward. I know you won’t because I will win.

As for condemning the LGBTQA community, didn’t you say the laws of Leviticus were fulfilled by Christ’s death which is why you wear mixed fabric clothes, shave your face, and eat ham or bacon. Is the law fulfilled or not pig?

As for throwing in beastiality and pedophilia – those who accuse are most likely to be guilty – amirite? It’s a lot like he who smelt it, dealt it only stinkier. You need a bath pig.

  50. G December 28, 2016 at 5:03 pm

AP, as Tom O pointed out in the US Constitution in prior threads on this website that the government is responsible for ensuring the general health and welfare of the people.

Where does it say in the Bible that unless we obey God, we can get nothing from him when you have stated that we must work to obtain these things according to scriptures that you have pointed out due to Adam and Eve’s sin? Like I have said before, we should not have to pay for what Adam and Eve have done. It is like blaming the victim of crime for causing the crime.

As I have stated before, the churches were overwhelmed during the Great Depression of 1929 and 2008 with regards due the sheer number of homeless, unemployed. Where were the so called job creators of the corporations and wealthy people in alleviated the suffering that they have created. Answer, they were no where to be seen or heard. So what if the churches have a fund to help people? Like any other fund, it needs a steady supply of money, and when you have sheer numbers of people out of work, the money stream drys up.

Connie was right about God being like a Sam Club. I guess that God is like a parent that loves you only if you follow certain conditions instead of loving you unconditionally. Good to know that too. Again you are a hypocrite about saying that God will provide for us and yet we have to work for it because of Adam and Eve.

Abortion is an abomination; yet, God has committed abomination when he committed murder in violation of his own commandments.

Lots of words from you AP with no substance at all.
