You are against anti-Semitism and I applaud you for that but actively criticise/hate? Christianity. What is your real agenda?
Please explain.

Hello (name withheld),
This is a very frustrating situation. I’m sorry to tell you that whoever gave you the information that prompted this and so many other emails was not telling the truth. A man who claims to be the leader of a Catholic organization printed a diatribe that not only falsely claimed Mikey Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, was an “anti-Christian activist,” but also misrepresented the facts of a situation in a way that has many people believing his lies.
Here is the truth:
We agree that military personnel have every right to pray. We have no objection to prayer. We object to inappropriate proselytizing. You see, chaplains have a face book page whereon they can do all the praying and lecturing and teaching and enlightening they’d like. But that’s a separate page from that of the unit leader or commanding officer. The commander’s page may not be used to promote one particular belief system over others because doing so amounts to government endorsement of a particular faith and violates the separation of church and state.
It’s a very simple issue. The two chaplains were allowed to proselytize for their faith in an improper place and manner and the MRFF received complaints about it. We then notified the appropriate people at the base and the situation was corrected. There are those, however, who want to test the constitutional limits abut the separation of church and state because they envision America as becoming officially a Christian Nation and see our military as ‘Jesus’ Army.’
We believe that is contrary to the intentions of the Founders and betrays the historic position of the United States as a secular state wherein everyone is free to believe as she or he chooses.
I hope that helps you understand.
