Dear Mr. Weinstein,
As the wife and mother of former military personnel, I thank our Chaplains for guiding our military to God, the Source of all blessings. Do your research regarding the meaning of “Separation of Church and State” so that your statements do not sound ignorant of facts.

Dear Ms. (name withheld),
I’m sure the chaplain corps appreciates your support. We appreciate their efforts as well, except for those who cross the line and forget their proper jurisdiction. Your impetuous judgment, however, brings to mind the latter group, from whom I fear you get the misinterpretations upon which you base your rather ignorant assertion.

Please be advised the US Constitution, American law & US Armed Forces regulations prohibit our secular military, as part of our secular government, from promoting or endorsing a religion except in military chapels or military chapel channels. Military chaplains may not proselytize their version of religion as the official military religion on official military channels. That is why the unlawful practice was stopped by the military itself after military members, including Christians, complained. For your information, even Jesus separated government & religion (Matthew 22:21; Mark 12:17).
